Earlier this week, I lost my grandma. We were really close. No joke, I have been watching the gears and gasoline detailing videos featuring Daniel and his crew all of this week to distract myself. This morning I find a post saying that he passed unexpectedly. What a loss! I’m so sorry for his family and friends. He was one of a kind!
An inspiration to so many, and dream come true for finicky car enthusiasts, Daniel is sorely missed. But if there is a silver lining about his life’s work and passion, the young men who worked with him during his quest to be the best in the industry have continued working under the company name and are still working magic on automobiles of all calibers in the spirit of this video. Just had my 981 Cayman S done last week (April 2024): Signature detail and single-stage paint correction for some light water spots and spiderwebbing. Turned out beautifully. I still call the primary operators “Daniel’s boys”, because not only have they been an integral part of Automotive Aesthetic for many years, but when I last spoke with Daniel, he said his boys were holding down the fort while he was back home in Roanoke. I think Daniel would be proud to see that his inspiration and tutelage is paying off and proudly being carried on under the name of the company that was his dream - one that was synonymous with top notch workmanship. RIP Daniel. Your boys have got this 👍🏼
This man and his team inspired me to get into detailing. I was really wanted to go them and asking for an internship or to work for them bc I wanted to learn from him and others. Damn, gone too soon but the father above knows whats hes doing. Rest in peace
RIP DANIEL! Me and your dad still doing a couple things together, and I’m still doin it for you. Thanks for this video and the inspiration. This is a passion and there’s nothing better than passion.
Daniel, you have no idea how many people you touched….Cousin, I hope you’re at rest. I’ll see you from time-to-time: in your mom; in your Uncle; in my husband... Our bodies leave us when we die, but that doesn’t mean we don’t live on. You’re immortal through our memories, and don’t you worry-through us, you’ll live on. Rest easy ❤️
It is apparent that Daniel has worked hard his whole life and not afraid to work. The detail business is labor intensive not to mention tuff on your body. I wish you all the best for following your passion to your profession!
I've seen your video on facebook, and I like to watch car detailing videos and I like watching more, when it's doing by a professional detailer. Please upload all your work. Follower from Germany/Turkey 👌🏼
iv just watched you 200k CAR CLEAN, all i can say is this is the rules i go by when it comes to detailing . We all learn different ways and its something we gain experience with . i started a small business clean or be cleaned a year ago and i still love it . This video is good for people to aspire to just want you to know well done and keep up the great work !.. uk fan ;)
This is one of the best depictions and descriptions of what we do I have ever seen. Fantastic! Have been following you since this video aired, you are doing great work at Automotive Aesthetic Daniel!
I resonate so much with detailing being a flow activity. Ever since my wife mentioned what a flow activity was 10~ years ago from her college phycology days it’s what I think of every time I’m detailing.
Love the story man! congratulation making your dream job come true! keep up the awesome work! I love watching your video's, they inspire me to one day run my own shop!
I'm from other side of the world but I follow and admire your works . I just started detaling and I love it . I have so much question to ask about detaling but I don't know how and where to ask them
