I love the new show! Kamea is getting so big!! Wish I could come this summer. I would be shocked if they only had it for 2014 hopefully they have it in 2015
Yep, she is. Calves grow quick! I'm sure this is going to be the next night show for a few years or more. They spent the time and money for original music, probably consulting various entertainment people, lighting consultants, getting new graphics, etc. I would be very surprised if SeaWorld spent the money on that only to use it for one year. Plus, the 50th Celebration is going to last 18 months, and it started on March 21, 2014, so that means it's going to last through September 2015. So I'm sure this show is going to hang around for a while.

I also could not make it for this show, the website said they were open till a certain night so I went that night hoping to see the show -giggles- And I went... well to say the least the park was closing so I think the website goofed. I hope this show will be offered next year for summer, or even during spring break like they do sometimes. Cause it looks so amazing some of the behaviors. :D So pretty.

To Scott W. The show fountains are rarely if ever used for tactile stimulation from what I have seen (I've only seen a very young Sakari and very young Kamea use them, other than that they seem to be ignored). They are pretty desensitized to them and in my experience are broken down half the time anyway. The only ones that the orcas at SWT tend to enjoy are the big water jet ones or trainers holding a hose.
And why on earth would Google make features that don't allow people to reply to certain comments? Ugh.
Ah, that makes sense. The "fountains" I was referring to are the big water jet ones as well, so I revoke my initial statement (I agree, the little dinky ones are kind of pointless, animal wise)
Also that is a good question. Probably cause Google's goal was to slowly destroy youtube while trying trying to force google plus onto everyone.
Scott W Ah, I see. The water jet ones aren't used in the shows (though they are used a fair bit in the back pools and I've seen many orcas taking advantage of them). At least, they haven't been since Believe and even then, I think they stopped using them after awhile. But the other fountains are purely for show and a visual spectacle for guests. I also hate them because they ruin photographs I take. My friends and I call them the "trolling fountains" for this reason.
Of course. Anytime someone takes over another site, they rarely make it better. They usually break it. TH-cam, Flickr, etc.

Ah Tuey. He's my sweetie that boy. My favorite male out of all the parks. Next is his big bro Keet. Tuar was the best choice for When One World Meets Another. If not him then Tiki. :)

No that's my daughter's favorite. I love him too but Tuar is special to me. His mother Kalina aka Original Baby Shamu was my favorite whale out of any of the three parks. Tuar was her third calf and the only one I saw her give birth to. What makes him all the more special is the fact that he inherited his mothers sweet diposition, her gentleness, playfulness and above all her eagerness. She was my girl, and he's my boy.
i was hoping they'd build an outdoor arena so they can do what FL does, fireworks!

Yes! He is very big! He's 19 ft long and about 6,000lbs now!

Well firstly, this is a magnificent video, but I'd hardly say the fountains at Shamu Theater are pointless! The whales seem to quite enjoy using them as tactile stimulation (I'd agree through, kind of pointless for the shows).
then i'm sorry but i like florida's show better they have fireworks and twirling fountains. these parks need better stuff. it's a good show this park did a good job on it.
Sarah Goforth Lol, Sure, whatever you say. Cause I go to see fireworks and fountains, lol. There is a great need of improvement at the parks, but fountains (and you can still see the pointless fountains at SWT) and fireworks ain't one of them. That's just showy stuff for the humans, the animals couldn't really care less about them. Greater commitment to improve the animal spaces and lives, anything to improve the animals' welfare is needed.
