Awesome score on those rings. Two of them are fossils from the Devonian Period. The pink striped is dyed Agate. Those two green are Malachite (you were right). The champagne colored is likely citrine based on them all appearing to be made of natural stone, some dyed of course.

Those are beautiful rings! Honestly, I would've just paid the $2 per ring price because it was more than fair. I love to haggle, but in this case, I wouldn't have. :)
Yeah... at the time, we weren't 100% sure they were actually silver.. they looked right and were marked, but there are also some pretty good fakes coming from China... and Karen would have been upset it she paid around $80 and got them home and they tested is NOT sterling... and being that the seller couldn't tell us anything about them...
@@BargainBarons I agree about the huge amount of fakes coming in from China. Ebay is now full of them! I always carry a strong magnet and that helps quite often. I also follow the policy, if it's too shiny, than it is a fake!
Agreed. They were already underpriced. I hope that person wasn't in serious need of the money. Not a good feeling.
I’m with rob in this. He made it perfectly clear plus if the seller was concerned she could of made a simple phone call. Being a friend she would of known if the ring seller was in need. Garage sales are always a bargain for anyone I believe.

Sad that the Bargain Barons are sick this week but rewatching older videos and this one is a GEM literally. The rings are amazing and I think they gave some away during their Christmas Live Feed. Jewelry is not my thing but was sure hoping Id win some Catchup Chips. I can tell by the views Im not the only sub who rewatches videos and I wish we could give a double thumbs like click.

I have a juicer like that Karen. It uses paper filters. It is awesome. I can still order my filters. That is what mine sounds like. You scored with those rings
That juicer IS awesome! It is soooo powerful! You could juice a tree trunk with that thing! Lol And it came with some filters, but it's good to know they are still making them, and I can order more. 😁

Hi Karen and Rob those lily of the valley are wonderful flowers. They come back every year and they will spread out as well. If you have a small flower bed that needs a little color and fragrance they are good for a shady spot. Love your finds today. That jar with the coupons was really cool. And those rings. If you plan to sell any let me know. I would love to own one or two that I spotted in your review. Cheers!
As far as I know Karen has on plans to get rid of the rings yet... but she changes her mind weekly.. so we'll see what happens! :D I'll let you know if anything changes. :)
Those coupons were used as money in the depression time you were issued only a certain amount of them to buy food hope that helps

Those old coupons would look great if you decoupaged them on to two old, or old looking, TV trays. Then you'd see them every time you use your trays. Or you could decoupage them inside a cupboard door. Lots of options, rather than having them sit in a jar, unseen.

I finally got caught up to this video. (You can tell how far behind that I am!) Those rings are amazing, Rob and Karen. I saw malachite, onyx, agate, etc.... So lovely, and the $$ are the price of the season. Great job! Now, we just need to see Karen wearing some of them. You know, "...and the ring of the week is xxxx". LOL.

Lord what beauties in those rings! I saw labradorite, turquoise, amazonite, malachite, howlite dyed and undyed. What a find! I am a SS lover from way back in jr. high in 70's when a good friend gifted my first piece. Flash those mama's all over town, and think of this old lady from the south. Love your videos!

I used to have those drink stands also as a child and buy from most every one I come across. I am in USA and now in most states it is illegal to operate one without a permit or business license, may also be against child labor laws. Back in 2015 in Texas they closed one little girl's because she was making money and they didn't get their share.

The rings, real stones but some are dyed, some aren't. They either use dye or heat to do it. There are real purple stones, but you can tell some of those purples you have there just don't occur naturally. Great score!!!
Yes we thought the same, some of them were dyed but some are natural... that's one of the first things Karen said when we got them home. =D

The rings were awesome, tigereye, chalcedony, malachite, charolite, the one with the sea shells in it is a stone that has fossilized. Alot of agates too. WOW !!!!
