A friend recently lost her husband. I was at her wedding about two years ago. One day he slept and didn't wake up. And she's never been the same. Every time I keep asking myself how people survive after losing a loved one. I just can't. This is a masterpiece, and i'm bawling my eyes out as I type this. As a very emotional person(I hate that I am)....God please. Don't want to type what's in my heart right now.
I lost my dad in November of 2020 and I must say he is a brave man to face death the way he did. His lungs were shutting down and he needed surgery immediatelyI but he refused to have it. For many nights he couldn't sleep because he had difficulty breathing. We pleaded with him for so long but he still refused even when doctors gave him a deadline. On that fateful Wednesday, I received a call from my lil brother saying he had rushed my dad to the hospital bcos his lungs had shut down. I rushed to his side and there he was on a ventilator and in a deep sleep. I stayed by his side left around 9pm only to come back in the morning to see his bed empty. It was as though my heart had been ripped out of my chest. I was so angry at first till I found out why he didn't have the surgery. He told my cousin (his favorite nephew) that even though there was money to foot his surgery, he preferred that money to be shared among his staff since Christmas was approaching and their families needed to be taken care of. To everyone who has lost a dear one, I'd say it never gets easy but let's always pick ourselves up and move on. I LOVE YOU DADDY. IM PROUD OF YOU AND YOU WILL ALWAYS BE IN MY HEART.😭😭😭

So much emotions in this short film from love/affection, care/nurture, denial, brokenness and acceptance. It just takes the audience on an amazing journey. Nice story, great actors. They at least had each other. Being isolated, staying away from your family and everybody you know at an unknown place wasn't easy. And the worse of all going back to work after recovering to care for people at the ER whose status weren't known. But in all God saw us through. May God take away all these pandemics from us🙏

Nice story, great actors. They at least had each other. Being isolated, staying away from your family and everybody you know at an unknown place wasn't easy. And the worse of all going back to work after recovering to care for people at the ER whose status weren't known. But in all God saw us through. May God take away all these pandemics from us🙏
