- Dozie and Didie, a young happily married couple, are unaware of how much the coronavirus would change the world outside, and their world within. As the world outside is forced to standstill due to the lockdown at the height of the Covid 19 pandemic, their lives gradually spiral out of control and they’re forced to face their deepest fears as a couple.

I lost my dad in November of 2020 and I must say he is a brave man to face death the way he did. His lungs were shutting down and he needed surgery immediatelyI but he refused to have it. For many nights he couldn't sleep because he had difficulty breathing. We pleaded with him for so long but he still refused even when doctors gave him a deadline. On that fateful Wednesday, I received a call from my lil brother saying he had rushed my dad to the hospital bcos his lungs had shut down. I rushed to his side and there he was on a ventilator and in a deep sleep. I stayed by his side left around 9pm only to come back in the morning to see his bed empty. It was as though my heart had been ripped out of my chest. I was so angry at first till I found out why he didn't have the surgery. He told my cousin (his favorite nephew) that even though there was money to foot his surgery, he preferred that money to be shared among his staff since Christmas was approaching and their families needed to be taken care of. To everyone who has lost a dear one, I'd say it never gets easy but let's always pick ourselves up and move on. I LOVE YOU DADDY. IM PROUD OF YOU AND YOU WILL ALWAYS BE IN MY HEART.😭😭😭

30th September 2020, this was my story. He left after going through the whole lockdown moving from hospital to hospital without an explanation of the illness. The worst 6 months of my life yet, I came out empty, lonely and no answers to my questions. It was wonderful sharing my 8 years in marriage with you. Am still here lifting hands and waiting for God to reveal to me the reason for this. This pain is just toooooo much. Thank you for the short but powerful movie.

A friend recently lost her husband. I was at her wedding about two years ago. One day he slept and didn't wake up. And she's never been the same. Every time I keep asking myself how people survive after losing a loved one. I just can't. This is a masterpiece, and i'm bawling my eyes out as I type this. As a very emotional person(I hate that I am)....God please. Don't want to type what's in my heart right now.

This is a great story line with actors that killed it My best friend- 28yrs lost her husband- 31yrs also during covid. Was unbelievable, cos I didn't think a young person wouldn't survive. He collapsed while using the gents. Sad till date as we haven't been able to move on. It is well with all those we went through this.
This young generation of actors will learn from both of you. Nothing great in the world has ever been accomplished without passion and that's what both of you bring to your characters
Despite the fact that I already knew that the husband will die from reading the comment section, I still shed hot tears oo. The acting was superb, editing and soundtrack on point. Just shows you don't need much to make an awesome movie. Incredible storytelling. 😘

Lota and Daniel understand how to bring so much depth to a character. The part where she said 36 more to go and D would have said ‘minimum’ but instead he asked ‘how are you’, that shattered me 😢😢😢.
So much emotions in this short film from love/affection, care/nurture, denial, brokenness and acceptance. It just takes the audience on an amazing journey. Thank you Lota, cast and crew and Cowrie films.

In my case he did not physically die. The marriage died, my eyes were opened and I saw more clearly than ever, that all we were was a lie. I decided to move on with my kids. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭tears are for the wasted years and dreams. I am better now and doing greatly ❤

Nice story, great actors. They at least had each other. Being isolated, staying away from your family and everybody you know at an unknown place wasn't easy. And the worse of all going back to work after recovering to care for people at the ER whose status weren't known. But in all God saw us through. May God take away all these pandemics from us🙏
