Oh my gosh! this movie is packed with so many life lessons that shouldn't be ignored. First, the unconditional love displayed by Adesuwa is so melting, it made me so soft after watching, the love is so patient towards her family despite all, it made her look like a fool at first, but you know what, that's love. It just reminds me of God's love towards us. Second, treat people right. Honestly, Adesuwa would have missed a chance on love and getting married if she had not treated Jason right. Third, be open minded, many have lost great opportunities because they believe some things will only come through a particular place. Adesuwa was open minded, so also Jason, also open your mouth, shoot your shot and don't just accept what life throws at you. A closed mouth is a closed destiny. Adesuwa insisted on going to school, so also did Jason, Adesuwa could have accepted her mother's wish and blame her life on such forever but she decided to change her life by sticking to what she believes. Same with Jason, don't look down on yourself, otherwise, good things will always pass you by. I can go on and on but I'll stop here. Thank you aunty Omoni for this masterpiece. Well done 👍 to all the cast, you did excellent.

One of my favorite scenes of this movie is when Jason confessed to Adesuwa by the beach. I watched that scene repeatedly because I love the matured nature of the conversation. Totally loved how he said “I’m desperate but I am not impatient. I will wait for you, I will wait till you are ready” and the soft touch.

This is unfortunately the sad tale of many first borns, especially in Africa...it's why I'd always recommend living abroad if you're a first born...or just far away enough...not ideal but it works.

There are so many dysfunctional homes in Africa, one person cannot take all these...the most annoying part is when the mother defend the others. This should not be tolerated. This woman is not a mother....these problems starts from the biggest narcissist in the family who is the mother. She even envy her own daughter Adesuwa.
What can I say? This movie was top notch! It got me in my feelings: angry, disgusted, in love, relieved, happy etc. My emotions were all over the place. That's what a good movie is all about! Well done to the cast. A good job, well done.

The beginning of this movie triggered me so much with those disrespectful younger siblings and Adesuwa’s mum’s bad behaviour. Wonderful production. I love Omoni Oboli’s acting too.
I liked the siblings' gradual change over time. It wasn't instantaneous, which made it realistic.
I actually cried when Etimeffiong queried Omoni’s brother after he stole the gold watch.. criminals steal from outsiders and not their own home 😢

Wow! This movie is a masterpiece and a cinema-worthy movie. It is not getting the hype and views it's supposed to get. The script, casting, and directing are excellent. All the actors played their roles perfectly. They brought realism to it. I was awake all through the night watching it and never wanted it to end. I don't know if it is a true-life story because it triggered my emotions at the beginning of the movie.
A parasitic family can be so depressing and choky; those without one should thank God. I love the fact that they all turned a new leaf and were able to see how valuable their sister or daughter was and how hard she worked tirelessly to support them. Unfortunately, first daughters in some families are neglected and never appreciated.
As a mother, never be a burden to your children. Don't be greedy and sentimental.
This movie is a 10/10. This is the third movie I have watched on Omoni Oboli TV, and I must truly say none of them disappointed me. It was all a good watch. Thank you 😊

Honestly this movie is the bomb. It literally brought tears to my eyes, how you could take so much from a mother who doesn't appreciate you and still stay strong and love her unconditionally. The movie actually teaches that love conques all.
Great storyline. Everyone nailed their roles. The movie is full of lessons. I enjoyed it, shed a few tears, smiled and laughed too. Firstborns are automatic Assistant parents but no parent should treat a child who is carrying the burden of the family like this. Welldone to the cast and crew.

The chemistry, the words, the emotions, the scenario...gush and that guy.... Kai... You just know how to warm hearts to any ... The way you carried that moment... It's way out of this world. And Omoni... You just know how to play it so well .. but I love the man you chose for the role. I'm really touched by the scene... 😢. " I desperate but not impatient. I love the movie a lot and the storyline is top-notch, Firstborns are not slaves, Family is everything but not at the expense of our lives, no one deserves to be ripped and talked or looked down on, especially by families. Osaze my guy!!! Parents should learn a lot from this.

This movie is so touching and filled with so many lessons. I have cried my eyes out. This is a master piece. Every family needs to watch this movie. The burden and heavy expectations placed on first borne and bread winners of the family is too much. It’s sad that not only first borne go through these unrealistic expectations, every bread winner of the family does. Thank you @OmoniOboliTV for this great master piece.

This movie was so hard to watch. I love Omoni’s films. They are always amazing. It is just hard to see people use and mistreat a kindhearted person, especially your own blood. I wouldn’t have been able to last like Adesua.
