Meet Rym! An economics professor expressing her creativity through English!

Meet our community member Rym! Rym is an economics professor at a university in Lyon, France, where she lives with her family.
Prior to joining our community, Rym only used English in her academic research. But when it came to networking and meeting new people at international conferences, she had trouble expressing herself confidently in English conversations.
She wanted to find a way to speak English outside of her academic research field so that she could confidently talk about life, current affairs and other things she is passionate about.
Inside our community, Rym immersed herself in conversations and quickly began to realise that she wasn’t just improving her English fluency… The effect was even greater - she was improving her experience of life.✨
Through our community, Rym has made beautiful friendships with women all over the world, and has reignited her passion for theatre and creative arts. 🎭
She hosts conversations in our community about interesting and “taboo” topics, where she promotes acceptance and encourages women to embrace diversity. She is also the much loved leader of the Theatre Group inside our community, where ladies practise and perform adaptations of famous plays... In English of course! 👏
