Hello, I was one of the people who asked about Blue and I think you did him a real solid. Look how happy he is, he belongs on that farm and perhaps if you hadn’t had him first, he wouldn’t be in such an ideal situation now, he may have been adopted by another family with a modest yard who wouldn’t have had the guts to do the very difficult but right thing by rehoming him in such a perfect place as a farm! :o) That must have been so hard, well done. I’m sure you can find a way to capture those paw prints if you ever do have to clean or paint over them 🐾❤️
P.S. This is random but Tesco came to my door while I had your video on (sometimes it’s Dunnes) so I figured I’d share with you that they deliver, in case you didn’t already know. The prices are good and the convenience is priceless! :o) Cuz ugh, I hate grocery shopping.
    Anyway, all the best

Thank you so much. Blue is just so happy now and although we miss him he's having the time of his life with a beautiful family. And I know he is loved and spoilt!! I actually did a Tesco online shop this weekend and I found that the prices weren't too bad plus I didn't get tempted by all the middle aisle goodies!!

      @@impromptuimmigrants That’s lovely about Blue, isn’t it :o) 🐾
And ah, very good so you know about the home delivery, it’s great. And same here, I remember what I was like at that middle aisle when I first moved here. No more! lol

Hi, my dear. You don't need to explain anything. We understand why you and your family moved to Ireland. We also from South-Africa.
Don't let people upset you. We love your videos. It's so nice to hear from you. People can be so nasty and leave bad footprints behind. Just ignore any nasty comments. You and your husband did the right thing to emigrate. Build a new save life and move on.
    Thanks for a nice video.
    Greatings from Melinda 🎉

Well done to ye for making the move a success. I went to England in 1970 with little or nothing in my pocket but at 20yrs of age optimism won through. I returned to Ireland in 1993 again with little money but with the same optimism and things have worked out ok. Best of luck going forward.

    Bronwyn Love your channel.
Hope this question don’t sound offensive Have you found any reaction to your family as migrants due to the recent kick back against migration into Ireland, and I am not talking about migrants fleeing war etc I am speaking about economic migrants of which I and my family would fit when we were economic migrants to Australia in the late eighties when the Irish government abandoned a huge number of its population economically You and your family sound like the sort of people that would be an asset to any country and I wish your family ☘ every luck in the future

    • @impromptuimmigrants
      @impromptuimmigrants  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Thank you so much for your lovely comment. Personally we haven't experienced any negative reactions as immigrants. I can't speak for others and I'm sure there are others who have had unfortunate experiences. But personally we have felt nothing but welcomed and accepted.

🌍✈ Hi I've been deeply inspired by your videos about moving from South Africa to Ireland I made a similar move 20 years ago.
Could you please sometime share ,
Behind the Smile: The untold emotional rollercoaster - stress, anxiety, and the pressure to appear successful and happy to those back home.
Family Dynamics: How such a move impacts relationships within the family that moves and with those left behind. It's a rarely discussed topic but so crucial.
The Left Behind: The perspective of family members ( Oupa's & Ouma's ) in South Africa who stay behind. Their experiences, feelings, and how they maintain bonds over such distances.
Your ability to connect and tell stories is powerful, and shedding light on these aspects can help so many others in similar situations. Keep up the fantastic work!

I think your decision to moderate comments removing rascist ones or very political ones is understandable as much of that can really alter the delightful and pleasant nature of your channel and lots of other channels specialise in that and many come to content like yours to escape it.

What it costs to move from EU member to Ireland? Lots. Just like it would cost a lot to move to any other country, including Ireland. You summed it up so well: do your homework online for circumstances specific to you but then add a little to what you thought. Then come, as you may enjoy what you find.
