Dude this video just saved me hundreds of dollars and the little tip of letting the fluid drip saved me from having to hassle with bleeding the system.

all they are doing is trying to sell you new items. the calibers can be rebuilt in 3 min. for less than $3.00 dollars each like brand new(just won't be shinny) ......oh no that wont work because it does not have a warranty better spend $150 - $250 dollars 1A auto parts......YA RIGHT
Yes and no. If you have a cylinder in a caliper that freezes you need a new one. As he said a bleeder that snaps off you can drill/tap but that is a lot of work that is a little sketchy and the part shown in this video is $74.95. That being said you're somewhat correct as you should change both rear or both front if you have a bad one, so that would be about $150. Also, you are correct as calipers can be cleaned and use replacement hardware to "rebuild" but that doesn't always fix the problem. Good place to start though.

Do you need to adjust the emergency break after replacing the pads and rotors? I thought I might need to do that bit it wasn't mentioned in the video.
Great vid. I just really wish you didn’t skip over the bleeding process instead of just a quick explanation.
+@jimwebber7451 Thanks for the tip! We'll pass this info along to our production team.

My new caliber brackets are rubbing against my routers to the point where my tire won’t turn, what do I do
What can you do if you can’t get the mounting bolts to loosen?

@@1AAuto I tried to get them off but half the bolt broke inside the hole how would I get it out?
The dealership recommended I change my calipers at 40k miles. I live in a heavy snow and salt area
That's foolishness. 40K too soon.
130 ft pound the caliper bracket

Of course they're trying to sell parts. I'd rather just install a new caliper then rebuild the old one.
