Seeing Maureen, dancing especially at 55 will give me many happy night's and days.

I wonder why Bobby wasn't dancing with them? It was like when Jan didn't dance with them during the square dancing because she wanted to be an only child and they were invisible. I wonder if something happened with Bobby?

He was worried that he had the mumps (from kissing Millicent) and was trying to stay away from the family to avoid giving it to them.

LOL look how awful Peter was, he was SO unmusical. Poor guy, but what a trooper, he went along with it all.

I think that object on the cabinet to the right at the beginning is a ceramic beer stein, a somewhat popular decorative item at the time, or at least I remember seeing several of them in other homes growing up in the 1970s.

More likely a cruet of some sort. Hard to believe the Brady's would have a beer stein on display.

This was probably when nostalgia started to be popular thanks to American Graffiti.

Just another happy American family where the kids' idea of a good time is dancing in the living room with their parents and the maid.

Does anyone know what is meant by "22 skoo" or "23 skoo"? I don't even know if I spelled that right. I've tried Googling it but no help. I've been watching this show since I was young and I realized I have no idea what this means? Anyone? Anyone?

      It was "23 skidoo"

skidoo (sometimes 23 skiddoo) is an American slang phrase popularized during the early 20th century. It generally refers to leaving quickly, being forced to leave quickly by someone else, or taking advantage of a propitious opportunity to leave.

Remember when Opie Talyor and his teacher dance the Charleston to make a statement to the school principal?
