@@survivalpodcasting the lifestyle design episodes have had more of an impact on my life than just about anything else in my life. I'm living my dream and I love my life.
I am having to make big decisions in my life at this moment and went looking for answers this evening - on a whim 👀 - I ended up here and that is rather profound to me as I do not believe in "coincidence" - I ended up here where I needed to hear what I heard!! Thanks Jack💚
It is never repeated, it always rhymes though. The saeculum pattern is evident in the Etruscan culture, the Egyptian Culture, the Chinese Dynasties, the Roman Empire, the British empire, etc. To think we can escape the cycle is the belief of one who denies reality.
I'm curious...I've seen bald eagles going after fowl...I asked what it tastes like. Most replies were "It tastes like a felony if you're caught!" Thinking like that is why I left California!
Jack, haven’t listened to your podcast in about 5 years, since I was an OTR truck driver. I’m back home taking care of mom and trading crypto… and I found your podcast again due to your airing next episode. Haven’t heard of Alby but your show came up on the feed. Can’t wait to have a listen. Question: are you still in your bitcoin and eth positions from years ago? Are you buying and selling cycle to cycle and keeping a reserve? I’m on a plan to sell 70-80% this time next year (2025) and buy the dip in 2026-2027. What are your thoughts? And goodness, you keep rolling out the content. I was at one point caught up with your shows. I’m afraid I don’t have the time I once did to catch up to present. Hope you’re well. Much love to you and the family.
I don't buy anything but BTC. I do still have a lot of ETH which on occasion I liquidate and spend on things like cars paid in full. The profit is so high on the ETH that it is almost 100% subject to capital gains and it is such that there is no way to avoid taxes on it. ETH has accounts not addresses. The only reason I have not dumped it and gone 100% to BTC is the loss to the dot gov in a single tax year is untenable. I sold every other shit coin I have other than a very small amount of Monero which I would never buy today. Bitcoin is it, there is no second best. If you spend a dime on any shit coins you hate money, don't do that.
Recipes really do die with people don’t they. My grandmother died in 2019, even with my aunt helping her making the thanksgiving stuffing for the previous 10 years it was helping her make it while doing other stuff in the kitchen. It’s been five years and my aunt still doesn’t have it quite dialed in. She’s getting there but not quite yet.
get her in touch with those who are in the field in different practice setting. They'll tell her what's up. Unfortunately, job satisfaction in healthcare is waning and many professions have been decimated by insurance and regulations.
Lol This past Saturday night...I was digging up my front lawn, to build a deck for my jacuzzi in the back yard. (Digging the front to pave for extra parking.)
This is one of those episodes that I'm going to be going back to on a regular basis. This is an instant classic
Most would think after 16 years a single comment like this would not be a big deal to me. Most hence would be wrong, thank you for your kind words.

If you do not master technology, it will enslave you. I LOVED the card catalogue.
Great episode
Thank you.
I like to think that the past still doesn't have to be repeated.

My 16yo daughter wants to become a physical therapist. What's the outlook on careers in the medical field?

@@hcgoode7675 Thank you for the suggestion. I'll find local physical therapists and ask lots of questions.
