Yea winches are a must when going offroad and going camping. Especially if you go camping alone. Same goes for maxtrax or traction boards. Great video.
I cannot find amp draw and what my current winch cable gauge is. Normally the gauge is listed on the coating. The way I had to remote my cable with the winch mount I used, it is roughly 4 inches short. I need to make up new remote winch cable connections. Currently they are 24 Inches. I need to go 26in to 30 in. The cable included looks to be 2/4 gauge, but I am not sure. Could you please tell me the type, I should use, copper clad, full copper.? I have a 9.5K 4x4 Monster, running syn rope. I am using a 27F group EFB batter with around 1010 CCA. Thank you.

Battery terminal wire might be the go. Maybe heavy duty jumper cable wire.
