    I’m loving his channel, my husband and I grew up in the Northeast and we see in him the same customer service that we are used too, excellent and honest. I would leave the light on a few days, I did because the first three days mine were constantly trying to escape😄 luckily there’s always someone home at my house so I had a AAfrican night crawler b babysitter team😂

    • @deewormsvermicomposting
      @deewormsvermicomposting  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      They seem to not really care about the light shinning above them 🤣 plus, they are in that urban worm bag, so there is no real way for them to escape 😊 Gaetano, from Northeast Worms, is definitely kind and honest! He really cares about what he does and I'm happy he wanted to share a piece of his work with me 😊

    Northeast Worms indeed has an excellent YT channel.
    I'm really looking forward to hearing your experience with the ANC's. I'm just getting started with red wigglers and a few Euro's that I got from a fish bait tub. Not ready to try ANC's yet.

    • @deewormsvermicomposting
      @deewormsvermicomposting  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Congrats on starting your own mini worm farm. When i first began a year ago, I started out with just 250 red wigglers. The bins kept adding up and the worms multiplied like crazy. That’s why, when your just beginning, it’s not necessary to go all out!

    • @jerrycallison6125
      @jerrycallison6125 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@deewormsvermicomposting I've had the first pound of redworms and the first twenty ENC's for just over a month, and I've already seen a significant increase. I'm giving them plenty of space to encourage reproduction. My biggest problem is leaving them alone. I keep wanting to check on them. They are fascinating. Hope it never ends.

    • @deewormsvermicomposting
      @deewormsvermicomposting  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I don’t think it will ever end. They always surprise me. Plus, there is always something to learn about each species and how they act. I had the same thing happen to me in the beginning, where I would want to check in everyday 🙂 somehow I managed to stretch out the time in between check ins. I find it more interesting that way.

    I want to get the vermibag lil mammoth and put my blue worms in there. I keep most of my worms mixed together, unless I’m breeding for size. Have you heard if the Blue worms and African Nightcrawlers get along? My red Wigglers, ENC and Blues seem ok together but then the blues always start out numbering them. I worry the blue worms gang up on the others, or destroy their cocoons? Have you heard?

    • @martysgarden
      @martysgarden 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I have never heard off that happening or seen it myself. As long as there is enough space I am sure it would be fine

    • @deewormsvermicomposting
      @deewormsvermicomposting  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’ve only ever seen and heard of the combination you already have ! But never blue worms with Africans. Both blue worms and african nightcrawlers like warmer temperatures so maybe they would be good together 🤷🏼‍♀️
