In his rookie year he had Eli and OBJ was on the team so that could explain why he was able to have a great year his rookie year but every year since, the defense has only had to worry about him.

Saquon isn't the receiver CMC is sure, but you can argue he's more dynamic in terms of how athletic he is. He's also much bigger than CMC. They're different types of players. CMC is basically a WR in a RB's body. Saquon is moreso in the Reggie Bush mold in terms of his speed. Just not the same pass catching threat as Bush
Saquans hands are just as good as CMC or Bush. What separates CMC is he runs routes like a WR. You can legitimately put him on the outside and he's a real threat. But saquan can catch the ball just as good.
It's also that saquon had Daniel Jones 😂
@WillWilliams-vo4nk excellent point, Saquon plays at 233lbs while CMC plays at 210lbs. that extra weight/mass does not usually result in good route running, hence why slot guys tend to be smaller around 5'8", 5'9". idk why people never seem to grasp these differences in physique results in different play styles/capabilities

As a Giants fan, Saquon never got a chance to showcase his true level. Every team that played the Giants during his time there, you know what there defensive coordinator's whiteboard looked like? "STOP SAQUON AND WIN THE GAME". He was the only real threat that defenses prepared for, maybe a little bit of Daniel Jones' ability to scramble but that's it. Every team playing the Giants played the run first, and why wouldn't they? They didn't have to worry about an AJ Brown or Devonta Smith type threat, or real franchise QB who could elevate mid tier talent around him.
He's going to eat with the eagles and their o-line. When teams can't load up solely to slow him down, it opens up everything else. You ain't gonna be able to just stack the box on early downs like everyone did against the Giants with Saquon lol. Teams have to be worried about RPOs, Read Options whether it's Saquon keeping it or Jalen keeping it. They have to be worried about play action, they have to be worried about AJ Brown and Devonta Smith cooking their coverage schemes. I'm saying all of this as a Giants fan who loves Saquon, who hates the fucking Eagles, but I'm objective enough to know what the deal is. This is literally the perfect fit for Saquon. Perfect. I'm still going to cheer for his success. I'd love for him to rack up a 1500+ rushing season with a ton of TDs. I just hope it comes in losses for the Eagles lol.

Bullshit Nick! Bartley’s rookie season while the best one wasn’t his only good year. The year after his rookie year he had 1008 rushing 1450 from scrimmage and 8 tds. In 2022 he had 1313 rushing 1650 from scrimmage and 10 tds. He made the Pro Bowl in 2022 as well. He should have been an All Pro his rookie year.
Guarantee if KC were to shell out money for Barkley and they needed a back like the Eagles did they’d be coming into this segment with banners and streamers lol

Yes Joe Mixon was putting up multiple 1000 yard seasons at 4.8 per carry and 5.3 per carry in 2018 and 2019 and he was on a terrible team. Mixon led the AFC in rushing yards in 2019 and he did not make the fucking Pro Bowl! I think that voters were holding that stuff that happened his freshman year of college against him. In 2021 he finally made one. He should have 2-3 of those things though. 2020 and before he was on a terrible team with a terrible offensive line.

The graphic, he shared comparing CMC‘s numbers versus Saquon’s numbers is misleading. A lot of those numbers for CMC have accumulated while being on San Francisco’s roster. Well, all of Saquon‘s numbers have been on the Giants.
Christian McCaffrey over the last few years has had an amazing supporting cast, that’s been widely touted as one of the top three overall rosters in the league.
Saquon‘s numbers have all come from a team that has been one of the worst with one of the widely touted, worst offensive lines, with no receivers, and a shitty quarterback!
He cherry-picks these numbers to fit his narrative, while not providing actual context to why the numbers are so different!!!
It’s crazy that they let him put up these biased graphics just to spin a narrative.

Just like the fact that he only focuses on the end of the year last year while forgetting the fact that the Eagles were winning despite terrible performances from their coordinators. Saquan is good but he isn’t McCaffery good. Not even close dude. I don’t think he is going to have more of an effect in Philly than Myles Sanders or Deandre Swift had. McAffery and Barkley are getting on up there in age too. Barkley rookie year was his best overall year and he made the Pro Bowl but 2022 was also a Pro Bowl pretty awesome year too. 1312 yards 10 tds 57 catches 337 passing yards.

He’s basically had 4 1K yard rushing seasons, not to mention all the receiving yards those years eclipsing that definitively.
