Like you said"Some may react like that but some may just get scared and go 4 kill",nobody can tell exactly what will happen in a street fight,or a robbery,etc.Nobody.There's no way the master can do well in a real fight like he did in this performance. You're right. But at least he'll do sth rather than standing there and taking a knife on his face. That's what martial arts are made for:help with the reacting. And like helmets, they may not keep us totally safe, but they'll make us more ready.
Half this stuff is not Krav Maga… And this is the most choreographed demonstration I have ever seen. I understand people want a good show, but self defense is not a show. We need to educate people about this, so they understand it's about saving their lives.
I agree, i would love to be a volunteer in this patetic hollywood stage show so i could show them that Krav Maga is just another shit perfomance for punters to pay money to learn.
John Vadasz It looks like a show because they have done those technics it like 1500 times each one, they're actually prepared to any situation at that point.
Zak Holland You think you can fight one of them ? hahahah my cousing is just level 2 in krav maga and he fucked up a guy with a gun and one with a knife in the street who tried to rob him.
Hypnotica I don't live in your country and I know that every person is different, but when I got threatened by a guy holding a gun six years ago, I threw my mobile and money at his feet and ran. He got what he was after and didn't shoot.
Even if 99% of the time they don't shoot, what about the 1%? I can tell you that it does depend on the situation and you could always be the 1%. I am not risking the 1%. This is of course understanding that you have training, without training you are asking to be shot.
John Vadasz even if you have training, it is a huge gamble. I do agree that there is still a small risk that even if they have what they wanted, they might shoot. However, if you've been training (as a civilian) in a reaslitic approach, you'll have also noticed that even if you perfectly know how to apply a specific technique with no stress, you loose at least 40% of your skills when you're under high level of stress (it goes without saying that this particular type of threat increases dramatically your level of stress). It is a question of choice. I'm nobody to tell you what to do, I just hope that you'll make the good choice if it occurs to you.
Belgian Whitewolf Hi, I actually train people in self defense and the first thing I always say is, if you can get away without a fight it is better. Avoidance is always a winner, once you in a fight you can only be a survivor. Please understand that what you said is true for most of how people train, not the way I do it, or a few people that I know. So what is so different you obviously would ask… Well it is 3 things, 1. We train with resistance 2. We train at full speed and 3. We train full contact (with protective gear of course). All this combined forces you to learn the techniques under high stress. I have done many Martial Arts, and on the whole they do as you say. I found this out the hard way, and changed my approach with years of training. I can tell you from personal experience that it works, but I can also tell you that I have avoided more fights and bad situations then I have gotten into.
It's so like, "ok i'm going to run up and grab your neck, and then you use your left foot to kick me in my right leg, then i'll go flying backwards with an unrealistic amount of force."
In real situations the first counterpuch/kick from the defender will neutralize 99% of the offenders or atleast make them groggy. Almoast every move goes with a direct counter. When you grab a gun from your opponent, his reaction will always be that he or she starts pulling the weapon. That's gives time to beat them up.
Krav Maga and Kung Fu are the same on the streets. I am a Chinese guy and kung fu practitioner and I love Krav Maga too cos it came from Israel from the Hebrew God I worship.
you can't consider krav to be a martial art in a sports sense. It is a set of combat techniques developed to for real fights where there are simply no rules.
jajajaja ho god this is even better than mrs bean ajajaj what i would give to see those people in a real fight with a metallic knife n not a plastic one.....n not a play fight
Yes. Confidence in the abilities from the training is one of the essential key points to be able to apply any technique in a real situation. =)
Nice to find a Krav Maga demonstration video without any flashy music.
Half this stuff is not Krav Maga… And this is the most choreographed demonstration I have ever seen. I understand people want a good show, but self defense is not a show. We need to educate people about this, so they understand it's about saving their lives.
Indeed I see alot of Aikido an Hapkido ending grips like the Ikio an Siho nage :-)
Grow up, yes they have practiced that "routine" id like them to defend against me
Zak Holland
You think you can fight one of them ? hahahah my cousing is just level 2 in krav maga and he fucked up a guy with a gun and one with a knife in the street who tried to rob him.
1:33 he is moving his body mass faster than a finger pression, these techniques are supernatural!
What do choreographed fights prove other than weeks of practice??
It's a demonstration of technique, that's the entire point of the demo.
Bill ok uh8
About the gun defense: give them your money and dont be stupid.
They would probably shoot you anyway. Like the kid who got shot 5 days ago in San Fransisco
Hypnotica I don't live in your country and I know that every person is different, but when I got threatened by a guy holding a gun six years ago, I threw my mobile and money at his feet and ran. He got what he was after and didn't shoot.

The man who layed all the mats on the ground, that is the final boss!
Extra ordinary... Thanks for releasing the tricks... 😍😘
why werent they as fast moving as he was...
Whats the frech word for ineffective?
what is the different between Brazilian jiu jitsu and normal JJ ?
Was that Kuribayashi sensey-he trained me Aikido

I think you meant "attack the groin", or for preference, "re-stomp the groin".
Absolument grotesque.
Ok, if special forces adopting it doesn't make any difference to you about Krav Maga's efficience what will?

these crashdummy robots seem so real! this is awesome!
Gracias !!!
Some people dont think this is cant be applied in real life situations but if ur confident and trust the training I think you will be fine
I'm learning it but we don't have the same moves...
this is what i call "no bullshit martial art" krav maga 👍👍👍
krav maga=last bussisnes in the gym
Gremio
Grêmios
Perfeito!!!
last scene is very specialy and also very dangerous but perfekt !!! top
The "Freeze Punch" is the most important in Krav Maga.
exactly... a real comment... It is about buying time and suing it rigth...
Yer it’s all about Confidence,Training Training Training . And like a tool bag you take out what’s needed at the time
nicely staged , where can we learn it in the uk
no need to learn this bullshit, never even help in real situation
0:39 kick looks like bowling pin knocked over
Parecen las demostraciones de Aikido
Is this some dance?
Impresionante.
NO SHITT !!! RESPECT TO THE FRENCH !!!!
👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏
i guess the reason for that is so the ''victim'' knows where the attaker has his hands to be able to react
Wow they are pretty fast !!!

I think krav maga is really cool, when for instance Roy Elghanayan practices it. But this looks a little silly to me as well.
they are different. But by logic, the opposite works too.
Nice video friend
the throw in the end was very dangerous.
but this is good krav.
It's so like, "ok i'm going to run up and grab your neck, and then you use your left foot to kick me in my right leg, then i'll go flying backwards with an unrealistic amount of force."
amazing how all those martial artists show off so much, but i don't see them in the mma cage to really prove what they can do.
@sabbathslaves no problem at all.
Final anti-gun throw was so excellent! Make me wanna learn Krav Maga. Good thing I'm in Israel!
awesomeeeeeee. two thumbs up
Excellent !
Good 👍👍👍
1:14 jajaja so you let the knife kills you and then you win?
It's a self defense technic used by Israeli mossad, not a competition of who's the best.

This stuff works really well in the movies only ! don't try in real life !
Nice moves..Usefull!
Excelente
The Brazilian jiu jitsu destroys, annihilates krav maga.
Brazilian jiu jitsu is simply the best.
No bad.,quick work
This is laughable
@Unidentified Creature some transitions of their techniques don't work
C'est super
Muito bom!
Great demo!
Krav Maga and Kung Fu are the same on the streets. I am a Chinese guy and kung fu practitioner and I love Krav Maga too cos it came from Israel from the Hebrew God I worship.
even without their obvious skill... these are very rugged people... would easily prevail against the normal crook
This looks like a cross between Basic Training hand to hand and jiu jitsu.
you can't consider krav to be a martial art in a sports sense.
It is a set of combat techniques developed to for real fights where there are simply no rules.
Neat demonstration =)
Awesome
yes because the most points is what really matters. If MMA was a fight to the death then it would fucking matter
The Harlem Globetrotters of martial arts, so exaggerated! Look at the dude's leg at 0:38- it's a fight on ice!
he was just being held in respect by the knife. he didnt get stabbed
That little laugh at the end.
In a real situation, the person attacking you wont just allow you do do your technique on them. These guys just stand there after they attack them
They trained to fall right
Russian martials arts?
Nice ballet with opponents waiting.
Do you know a better way then? When its about your life.
jajajaja ho god this is even better than mrs bean ajajaj what i would give to see those people in a real fight with a metallic knife n not a plastic one.....n not a play fight
in muay thai these are legal targets. And it is a combative sport but was born on the battlefield. The only martial art that did this "really".
