I haven't spotted it yet, but there was an event on the 29th that was amazing. The city cops had someone pulled over across the field from my house. (the first time in 6 years i heard a siren) anyway they had all their lights on and back up came in two deep. (2 more cop cars) the whole force was there, all 3 of them. I was out in the garage working on my Harley when i heard them. I went outside to get some air and look at our police force in action. When i saw some thing in the night sky that we never see in these parts . It was green and had a pulse (blinking), It just so happened that i had my laser pointer , so i thought i would paint it because it wasn't normal looking like a small airplane, as soon as i hit it with the laser it stopped and went back from the way it came. yep, ain't no airplane. I think they were checking out all those flashing light's from the cop cars. and i think they were getting tired of me constantly pointing that laser at them. The moves it was making were freaking me out.
I sure would LOVE TO SEE IT. LOL I LOVE THE ASTEROID BELT, out of it can come just about anything. Yeah, and I wonder How Often The little Moons will show up ?
OK, I'll admit, I only clicked on this because a pretty girl was talking about the geeky things I like. I didn't know she was a phd and all of that. If I did, I would have clicked harder. Also, Australia doesn't exist. I went there and it was just barren land surrounded by 15 miles thick of coastland. It's not an actual country. It's not the size of a moon or even a mini-moon. Unless the moonlet has like a giant hole in the middle. Which would make it a space donut. Hmm..space donuts.
its been here before no collage degree can teach this cause no one was alive from the first time we as a people on earth are dumb compared to other places in space we never learn from our history all about power and money it will keep going to we have next teck jump in ways of thinking

I interrupted what I was looking at to come over here. Where the heck you get that JWST mirror? Oh you're a Dr. (much respect). Cuz I'm bout to say; "Girl I'm bout to steal that idea!!!" 💛💛💛💯💫🌟🪐🌜
Why does the sun get to keep it? I want earth to keep it and I’ll throw a fit if I don’t get my way!!
Time to storm the Gravitational Center!

😂
i tot it will be half of original moon. this is just a dot
About time Australia is used as a reference of size, thank you from Brisbane Australia.
No worries mate, from Sydney Australia 😁
@@astrokirsten Oh hello there neighbour 👋
I assume those mirrors are meant to be a replica of the James Webb mirrors? Fun fact - the company I work for assisted in creating/developing those!
That sounds made up

You are fun and engaging! New sub here in Canada.
Thank you! I'm so glad to have you here!
wow! comparison to the AU puts Moon into a new perspective for me 🙃
Why hasn't nasa shown us a real photo of our mini moon?
It's tiny. But yes there will be photo from many people with telescopes. Myself included
I don't know about other locations but the temperature has gone up dramatically where I am
I sure would LOVE TO SEE IT. LOL I LOVE THE ASTEROID BELT, out of it can come just about anything. Yeah, and I wonder How Often The little Moons will show up ?
Why arent ppl talking about how the tides will be affected especially during hurricane season ???
I think that's because of it's size. Only 11 meters or 36 feet in diameters. Too small to have any real effect on the tides.
Mini-moons ago...
😂😂😂😂
Brooo the dates are creepy. This mini moon is telling me something
This is how the alien invasion will start…..Trojan Moon!!!!…..help.
could earth ever pernamently capture a asteroid and turn it into a pernament moon that lasts millions of years?
Are we going to see it with naked eyes???
Unfortunately no 😭
Wish you could add some US measurements in there also for all of us non-metric people.
Oh yes of course! Thank you for the reminder 😊
you could use a converter an online one, when i need to convert imperial to metric a few seconds is all that's required.
10 meters is 32.8084 feet
Is there someone willing to shoot that thing for target practice? What if there's a bigger one comes? It's an opportunity!😅
Which countries can see the secound moon?
Hi Kristen , thanks for the informative explanation.
I love your T shirt and your mirror. Is mirror a representation of the Hubbles mirror ✨
Thank you! It's actually a representation of JWST, I love that telescope so much!

Have you run out of your daily meds?
January 2025? ... heard not until 2055
It'll fly by close again in January 2025 (this is mentioned in the paper) and then it will come back again in 2055. 🤩
