If you cut with the grinder use as thin disc as you can, and rest left arm against suspension so it will give you dome steady hand, so you will cut what you after, on some grinders you change speed of rotor to lower
Use ratchet spanner next time it is much quicker, plastic anti roll bar does the job well, metal ones get rusty quickly after some time, replacement necessary after taking some much bitting from the roads, change them every 3-4 years one you start hearing gentle knocking that will safe the rest of suspension, easy and cheap staff

What's the story behind it being m made of plastic.. I'm new to insignias. I've seen steel replacements same ones I'd have on a passat.
if you hold a blow torch on the nut for 3 or 4 seconds the nut will be undone so easy.
I will have to do rear suspension soon so I will give it a try there as everything is so corroded and it put me off lol
