Hello Asish, I am a student of IISER Tirupati. A bit of information i think would enhance your blog. Right now, the transit campus is gradualy getting non-functional. The labs are getting shifted, all the students (bsms, iphd, phd) are now residing in the permanent campus(pc). It's almost 1.5hrs away from the city so its not urban at all. The mess is alright, we are starting to have two types of mess. Right now, what we have is a pay-and-eat system, so if you want to eat something you like, you can get(although not everything but its alright). The lhc is functional, and we have some 200 and 300 seaters classrooms apart from the regular 50 seaters. The auditorium is also completed. So yeah, thought to put it out. AMA if you guys want to know anything else.
Bhaiya mera 2nd round me IISER bhopal aya hai . Apke iss video ki basis pe IISER bhopal better hoga ya IISER Kolkata (hostel, facility, academics milake) . Uske hisab se kya phirse float karu IISER Kolkata ke liye?
As far as I know, you can go for Post Doc and become a prof, you can join industry in your particular specialisation as a scientist. There are also govt. Institutions like NCL and ICMR that have posts for the same.

Can I ask you one more thing??? How's extracurricular in iisers?? Like dance clubs, sports clubs ... How good are they?? Are these as good as IITs have??? I have heard a lot about the clubs in IITs...!

Maths and stats chahiye to ISI is best, also job package is pretty good. IISER is for research and research only (there are not many good placement opportunities).

But as we know iisc me bs ms course nahi h only 4 yr bs course h to kya ms 2 saal alag se karna padega kyunki foreign universities to research experience mangti h na student ko kisi bhi phd program me enroll karne se pehle? In my opinion IISc milti hai to chodna mat, see their Msc criteria if they take students within IISc if they perform well in other options I would suggest Pune, Mohali or Kolkata, whichever suits you.

IELTS dena hi padega, coz it grants you Visa and by getting Recommended by professors and connection through projects/internships you can join an institution with funding.
Can I ask you for one career advice?? I'm planning of taking admission to IISER MOHALI for i-phd in biological sciences. There's an exit option also available after 3 years. Is it really worth doing?? Like, I can still explore my options and can apply for a PhD abroad as well. Right?? Or is it only good for BS/MS and no value for i-PhDs?? I saw your alumni video one day... Where you actually focussed on alumni of BS/MS. That they are working in so many good companies.. etc.. Aren't these option available for i-PhDs as well???
PhDs from IISERs have very good returns even in my IISER, many people pursue i-Phd. IISER basically gives you push in many fields and also academically. It's not only restricted to BS-MS. People also make good connections here.

About BS degree, mai research karke uspe bataunga. After PhD you can do post-doc and become a full time researcher or professor else join an industry as a scientist.

I know about Kolkata, and it is very good. We have won IICM 3 out of 4 times. Sports is also good out here with coaches for each sports club.

Nahi pehle semester mein zyada fees hota hai, and the SAF is deducted from the total semester fees.
