This tutorial is AMAZING!! I made this top while chilling in a coffee shop and I just finished and tried it on and it’s SO flattering. Best crochet tutorial I’ve ever followed. Thank you for this ❤
Literally love this top. I made the medium size in the video and it fits amazingly (im a 34c). I will say if your a wide rib cage girly like me you would probably benefit by adding around 20 more stitches to the straps to have some wiggle room and strap left to tie. otherwise it’s so cute and fits lovely and super easy to follow along. Literally my new favorite thing🤍🤍
I’m a 34C as well and currently making this top with some adorable psychedelic cotton yarn(Amazon!) Awesome to know this pattern fits pretty comfy, can’t wait to finish it!😁
I had a slow night at work and made this top in one sitting out of some scrap yarn that a colleague gifted me. So much fun! It felt nice to not put three months into a garment for once, haha. It turned out great, so thank you!
Made this pattern for my wife and she definitely wants more in different colors so i bought the pattern. It was really fun to make and it looks great on her! Thanks for the great video and the great pattern!
As always, another awesome tutorial. Love you! I watched the whole video with no yarn and hook in hand. 🤣 But I will be making it as soon as I’m done with my other crop top. (Yours of Course) Thank You so much for taking the time to satisfy our need for this top. 🤪 🥰🥰🥰🥰
I made 2 so far, thanks to your awesome tutorials ❤, I need to work out some kinks out measurement wise but otherwise im So proud of myself. Thank you so much for making these videos, I'm truly a visual learner, the written patterns make me feel like I'm doing a math equation( I don't know how to properly read them either(lol) and makes Me wayy Too Anxious
Really wish I could post it, and you tell me what you think. The 2nd top I made different I followed the basic cup patterns the bottom half is different tho❤
I haven't been able to make a crochet top that fits until now!!! Usually tops with chain straps end up wayyy too loose on me with basically no support. But your pattern allowed me to make one that fits PERFECTLY! thank you so much for sharing your pattern!!
this is definitely a favorite top! just made this and i am never taking it off ever. i am gonna be buried in this top. super easy pattern and just look so good. my girls feel secure too. i went with a medium but 180 for the straps and i love this thing. thank you kelsie for the pattern!
As. 53 year old-going on 30 -year old beginner here your videos have inspired me. I bought a skein of sugar and cream yarn it’s aqua white and brown combo colors and I’m making a halter tank top without a pattern just came up with something on my own but definitely buying more yarn and doing this pattern! Thank you ❤
Thank you for your tutorials! I've been able to make a pullover cardigan for each of my kiddos and made a Lily Top. Had to improvise a 2xl for the Lily but was SOOO HAPPY to see you have a 2xl option for this top and a couple of others. Thank you for including my size when you made this pattern! I am finishing up this one today and cannot wait to try it on!
I made this in 4.5 hours and it's so pretty. I might be a lil insecure to wear it considering it's not environment for my living situation rn but I'll be moving next year and I'm definitely wearing this!!
Just bought my first pattern from you for this top after making 4 peek a boo tops. Thank you for this kelsie. I cant wait to make them in every size and finally stash bust all the cottons i got on clearance last year!
Kelsie, I was on my way to show the pattern photo to my friends and ask if I could pull this off at my size, and I was entirely THRILLED to see a plus size model on the listing!! Now, when I get paid, I will DEFINITELY be buying this pattern; because if she can look that amazing, then I can definitely pull it off too
@@notyourgrammascrafts Yes I did! I bought the pattern and made the largest size, but unfortunately despite me usually being a size XL the top did not fit my anatomy ):
Absolutely love this tutorial!! Videos make things so much easier for me. As someone with sever dyslexia written patterns are an absolute nightmare so thank you thank you thank you!!!!!
Yeah finally I finished this top in 5 hours 😅❤ this pattern is super easy to follow I am in love with this pattern I saved this video in 2023 and now I make this top thank you so much kelsie 🥰
Love it! I did change the boarders though so it would be easier to lace in the straps in the back, not needing a hook to assemble the back (something like [sc, chain 2, skip 2 stiches, sc 4] repeat) if you wanna do that too, make sure to put the final “loops” at the corners of the row, so it wont curl
Thanks for posting this video tutorial!! I made a pink one to wear to the Barbie movie when it premieres lol. I love it so much. After making my first one, I bought your Etsy pattern to make some more with modifications. Thank you for all your videos
Just made this using Lily Cream n Sugar yarn in the color Berry Crush! I'm a medium but quite small in the chest area so I made some sizing adjustments so there was actually a peek to sneak lol I'll try to post a pic on Instagram at some point and tag you. Thanks so much for the tutorial! I look forward to trying out some more!
For anyone who wants to know - I made this pattern in an 8ply or DK weight yarn and a 4.5 mm hook and sized up from an extra small to a medium, and the pattern fits perfectly after doing this (I do not have worsted weight yarn but still wanted to make this design)
Amazing tutorial! Very clear and I finished my top without crying once 😂 one note for others: I did the straps with SC and I regret it- they’re just a little too fluffy to fit through the body area well and it means it’s very hard to put on and take off by myself 😅 I’d say go with slip stitch like she does
I've been seeing this top on Instagram for a while now and I saw you sell the pattern but I'm always hesitant to buy patterns because I just can't read them, I honestly need either a tutorial or a graph, but a written pattern I just can't do it. So today, after yet again seeing your profile, I decided to check your TH-cam channel to see what other stuff you had AND YOU HAVE THIS ONE 😭😭😭😭😭 Thank you so much, I'm going to do it very soon🥺 It looks beautiful, thank you again for sharing it ❤❤❤
ive been so reluctant to make tops because every pattern ive seen have been for smaller chests (which sadly is not me yet 😭) but i was SO GLAD to find out you had conversions in the description 🩷 i found your pattern thru a facebook group where a girl similar size to me made it and it gave me hope 🙏 halfway thru it rn and its looking amazing!! thankyou for an amazing pattern, i cant wait to finish this
Can I just say, this has been saved in my "to make" album for a while now.... been making other things, and kept coming back to this one. Didn't wanna make it cause I didn't want it to be "too hot 😉" of a piece to wear out of the bedroom.... I just made 2 in 2 days, and im IN LOVE WITH THIS TOP!!! Made one in sparkly burgundy since it's my fav color, added 2 more v stitch rows & made straps 10sts longer so it could wrap around & tie in front!! (I'm a size small!) Made my first one in a faded teal color, and it's swimsuit material for the beach!! 😍😍 Love your tutorials, made a simple bralette from you in the past & I love it too! Very easy to follow, love the pattern sizing differences in the description! And your voice is calm & soothing, & you sound like me if I were to record myself 🤣 Thank you for this, and for helping me make my 2 new favorite pieces this week!! ❤️
Thank you so much for the tutorial! I used smaller size yarn and follow the exact measurement but still it came out small for my size. But it’s okay, lesson learned here. I’m gonna make another one because I looooove the design hehe. Thank you!!❤❤
Thank you so much for the tutorial ❤❤ you're so kind. Here in the Philippines, if they're selling patterns they will never share it. Btw you're my Idol❤❤❤ love youuuu❤❤❤
This is the first top I’ve ever made! I was so excited to finish that I didn’t realize it’s 4 am and am now too tired to try it on but first thing Tomorrow morning 🤘🏻 I did mine in mandala color ombré. It said weight 4 but It behaved like a 2 so I had to deviate from number of stitches . Love the look and feel of the yarn and the way it makes this top look!! I’ll be wearing it to the fair tomorrow 🥰 thank you for this amazing pattern!
Bought a crocheting kit and this was the first thing i made. the instructions are so clear and easy to follow along with thank you! Made a few mistakes here and there but it still looks great. I love it! 😍
As a plus sized woman : 5’6 & 275 pounds. Bra size: 48C (plus i always use an extension) I have a WIDE chest and back but small breasts. My first attempt was the XXL and after some pulling and stretching I got it to fit but the chain wasn’t long enough. For my second attempt I am going to increase the side rows because I don’t like a full open back, and i’m going to change it to a halter tie AND a corset tie. Just wanted to share in case anyone else is like me. 😁
Thank you so so much for this tutorial it has been so easy to follow and I am absolutely loving how this too is turning out so much thank you so so much for your videos

Just finished this at 3 AM lol It was so so easy, so quick, sooo cute. The support is great, but I'll probably make the straps thicker for a better look. Gonna make it in many colors too!
made this top and it came out so cute!!!! I can't wait to make more colors. I was unsure at first because I never have luck with crochet tops fitting me (big boobs) but the different sizes helped so much!!!!!!
I've just started it. I'm breaking at the middle ten row part. But i had to start it again and go down a hook size because mine first piece was so holey. So I'm now using G hook 4.5m it is looking a lot better. I've been recovering from. Head injury past month half so I'm slower on my crochet but i can't wait to finish this in few days!❤
Did this make the top smaller for you? I'm impatient amd want to make this but don't know where my 5mm hook went. Thank you for taking the time to read this 😀
@MiyokoHana342 yes. For me using the 4.5 G hook actually worked out much better in the end for the top. End project was same and not big like I was getting when I tried to use the 5MM. HOOK.
I tried making this 3 times from the video but for some reason the second part after the bridge never matched so I stopped at the bridge and made a second piece from another skein and then attached and it was perfect. I’m not sure what is happening with the second cup on the written side for me but I’m obsessed when I finally got it! I can’t wait to wear it
