- Due to dropping winter temperatures, the big trommel has frozen overnight - leaving the crew with a plant unsafe for function and having to spend hours thawing the machines.

I see alot of chiefs and not very many Indians. When he said 10 minutes, I would of handed him the welding leads and said have at it. I don't know how anyone can work for these guys.
There has to be a non aggressive contract on these shows. Seriously out in the real world guys like Todd ,Parker and others would be laid out cold by 10 am. LMFAO
buy a parachute and a ready heater / Herman nelson heater and your plant would run longer with no ice once its running take the parachute off and run till you cant
i worked on graders at -40 and i was in a t-shirt by the end of the repairs due to how hot it gets under the parachute
U could get some military type canvas tarps rig up ,get larg turbo heater.

What does Todd do on this show besides yell,complain and blame people. When he says "we" you know he means someone but him will be doing it.

You can tell who are the real gold miners because they are tired and have dirty clothing. You can tell who flew in for the weigh outs and scripted problems, they wear clean coats, & white baseball caps like Todds son. This is the exact same script used on the last 34 gold rush end of season shows.
Working in the oil patch you can always tell an engineer from an actual worker. The shiny hard hat and brand new boots give it away everyone. Welcome to the "real world" where the "works on the computer" excuse just doesn't cut it. Lol.
