Because the world of the soap opera is so fast paced they often only do one or two takes per scene, Jake's nickname "One Take Jake" implies that "had every take completely memorized" and when he was involved in a take he would get it right the first time (everytime). Which is a good thing :)
I just finish the whole serial and i do felt very nice with van and jake's story... i think was an amazing idea for people looking for strength and courage to find the answer in their lives... i hope some day i get the chance meet those guys. not sure if some day they will read this, but if any of you do, i just wanted to congratulate you for your good work and thank you for making the serial, it ment a lot to me. When Van turns and looks towards the camera and smiles after he asks Jake what his impression of him was is the cutest moment ever! *swoon* He's too adorable. And then when Jake asks for the word association and says "I kinda did.." and shrugs his shoulders that was cute as well. lol
Thanks for posting this I love Nuke especially JAKE he's my man. They do have great chemistry together. I love seeing them posing for pictures as well. Again thanks for uploading this.
Ok if I had been on that set while they were doing the photo shoot I would have melted from the heat coming off those two. I love the way Jake is just looking at Van and how close they are at :07 and Jakes little eyebrow raise at :11 but the best is how Jake moves his hand onto Van's leg at :13. Gay or straight I don't care, these boys are gorgeous and have the most incredible chemistry on and off screen.
Just saw Jake Silbermann on Broadway in The Assembled Parties. He did a great job! He played opposite of some Broadway heavy hitters and really held his own and brought a lot to the role. Congratulations, Jake! Well done.

Just because an actor has a gay storyline doesn't mean they are gay in real life. There are lots of gay actors who play straight characters too. It's their job. In this day and age it shouldn't matter what their sexuality is. Gay, straight or bi as long as they're happy it doesn't matter. They are both good actors and they're enttled to keep their private life private just like everyone else.

I heard that the production company doesnt want any of its actors to reveal their sexuality, since it might take away believability from the show. Van is one sexy mofo and because of his great acting skizlls and his mannerisms and his gentle soul it seems fit for some for him to only be with guys but he very well may be making some girl very happy!
