i noticed whenever you shave fur you don’t wear a mask/ respirator!! the micro plastics can get into your lungs and cause groomers lung, common with people who groom dogs. it’s something i think you should invest in as a fellow maker myself!

AYY! I'm glad you posted !! I hope you're doing well ^^ Might I ask, is there any idea when the alligator tail video may come out ? No pressure of course!! Take it at your own pace and don't rush ^^ ❤
Honestly I'm thinking in about a month or so? I have a few videos I need to put out first before that one comes out, but they're already filmed so I just need to edit them!
As cute as the paw pads on the shoes are wouldn’t the material get super dirty extremely easily and be annoying to clean? I don’t own a fursuit but seems like when people go out in them it’s a lot of walking both inside/outside for hours and I’m just imagining all the dirt and stains and crumbs that will be stuck on the bottom those within the hour. 😣 Seems better and more convenient to just have shoe material on the bottom over making somewhere people don’t see a lot look cute, but may just be a preference.
You must not be in the fursuit community LOL ! The common practice is for indoor feetpaws with the pawpads everyone finds cute just for indoor use, treating them careful, and if you want to have some for outdoor use you commission outdoor feet, with sturdy rubber bottoms to withstand the elements. The downside to those is that they dont have the cute pawpads! This client just wanted the inside ones. Sometimes I get clients that want a pair of each, some just want outdoor etc. We've obviously thought about the feet bottoms getting dirty before lol.
Just our of curiosity, is there a reason makers don't use an embroidery machine to make the paw pads on the hands and feet? It seems like it would be a little bit easier to get everything symmetrical, but I've also never used an embroidery machine before and don't quite understand how they work. Also, amazing work on the armsleeves! There is nothing that makes me happier than seeing all the little hand sewn pieces of a suit shine through.
Oh I definitely use my embroidery machine for that sometimes! I've set up my 5 finger handpaw pattern for that, but haven't digitized my 4 finger one quite yet! Just gotta get time to. It does make things so much faster and more symmetrical! Keep in mind embroidery machines with a big enough hoop for that are very expensive tho, like $2000+, and you need to buy a digitizing program too which costs a lot, so theres a lot of up front cost with starting to get into embroidery!
amazing suit omg he's so cute! can i ask what kind of scissors you used to cut the extra fabric away from the pawpads without cutting the fur beneath are? they look like a lifesaver for cutting out the pawpads and i am a struggling new maker lol
ooh! good question! those are called "applique scissors" or "duck bill scissors"! they seem like they run more expensive than normal scissors - I got mine at joanns for $40.
I used spandex/lycra! I personally like lining the inside, but you don't necessarily need it. However you DO need to still wear a balaclava on your head at least, esp if you don't have a lining in the head. You need to keep your sweat from your head off of the internal foam, since the foam is harder to clean the sweat off of.
I wish someone could make me a pursuit but I'm too young I'm 10 years old so I don't think it will fit I always wanted a dog pursuit like a German shepherd dog a normal face but I live in Poland so I don't think it will come Btw I got scammed for a 1,000 dollar pursuit it was supposed to come but it didn't come for over 1 year or a lot of months My dream is to own a fursuit😢
i just noticed the neck liner fits Channy’s coffee theme. So cute!

Yes thank you for reminding me! I've known that for a while but continue to procrastinate on buying one. I shouldn't tho.
Finally, someone who brings this up 😭 I almost never see it in tutorials and a lot of people wouldn't even think about it
That is mind-blowing! I'm sure most people have no idea what goes into realizing these characters!
Channy is very beautiful. I love his color

By digitizing I mean basically turning the shapes into stitches and directions for your machine to read where to sew.
@@freckledcatcreations Holy cow! I had no idea they were so expensive. I guess it makes sense, though.

hi! new fursuit maker here, just wondering, what material did you use for the lining in the head, and do you need lining?

EARLY!!!
Hi
How long is the time elapsed?
I started this around July 2022! But I've been working on several projects at once, as well as my kigu commissions, so that's why it took so long!
