I think w/o internet (wifi) you can play if I remember correctly.
You’ll just need wifi/data upon downloading the app from the App Store haha.

21:27 I had to find a video of what was supposed to happen here. On my game they jumped into each other and just vanished. Assumed they were supposed to poof and their gems dropped but that just didn't happen. ahaha
