I remember this. All those shows, what a great ride down memory lane.
I always keep hoping I’ll find recordings of full Cartoon express blocks with He-Man and or She-Ra. Especially with commercials. I loved that era so much.
Good ol days...back then we didn't have cable so I had to go over my friends house to watch cartoon express

I remember the very early years when they showed "Young Samson", "Speed Buggy" and "The Roman Holidays" every afternoon. Would love to see those original early bumpers again.
Thanks for the blast from the past. I've told my children countless times about watching this after school as a child. Thankfully, my teenager is obsessed with the eighties.

Joe, Toxic Crusaders, Dinosaucers, Terrytoons, The Chipmunks Go to the Movies, Super Mario Bros. 3, Captain N, Maxie's World, Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, COPS, Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, Woody Woodpecker, Dennis the Menace. Especially with commercials. I still loved that era from the 90's.
I remember the USA cartoon Express and the USA network should bring it back. 😀👍

I remember when these shows were on regular rotation every Saturday afternoon from 4-5pm and every morning at 7-9. They would only show the classic Hanna barbers cartoons in the weekday evening version
Once again old man Jim educating me about cartoons before my time.
The Pebbles and Bam Bam show seems like a fever dream. It doesn't seem like a real thing but it existed.
This was more what I what I was hoping to see from ME TV Toons when they launch their 24-hour cartoon channel on June 25.

As a latchkey kid, this was a good sitter until my parents got home from work. Good memories!!
I was born in 1990. So I loved catching mighty max, street sharks, tmnt if I was really lucky I'd see the mario cartoon or sonic the hedgehog.

The Real Ghostbusters was always a personal favorite of mine.
Me Too! I actually got to meet Real Ghostbusters voice actors Dave Coulier (second actor for Dr. Peter Venkman) and Maurice Lamarche (Dr. Egon Spengler) at Ghostbusters Fan Fest in Los Angeles in June 2019. I got my picture taken with them and later had both of them autograph the photo. Maurice Lamarche even mentioned to me that when the cast recorded the first 13 episodes of season 1 they had no idea the show would still be popular with fans all these years later. I am glad that I got the whole series on DVD from Time Life when I did, so I can revisit the show any time I want and share with my nephews and niece too.
He Man was my favorite show when I was a kid. As I grew up I always asked for He Man action figures, but since I'm a girl my family always got me She Ra toys that I never played with. They even got me some kind of castle play set or something to get me to play with her but I didn't (I did play with her horse, though - he was cool and had wings on the saddle). I don't know what it was about them absolutely not getting me any He Man toys, though they were okay with me watching the cartoon, and I never watched She Ra cartoons and they all but forced her toys on me. I had a friend who was a girl who had some He Man toys and I was so salty about it and refused to play with hers whenever she brought them over to play.
I do remember this its one of the less known program blocks sadly and I struggle to remember it.
They need to revive this
I remember "Cartoon Express" which was 1 of the reasons that made cable TV cool! I remember in the early years USA network played the cartoon shows at random and the lineup was different each day, 1 day they'll play Yogi Bear, than Huckleberry Hound, than the Snorks. Next day it'll be Scooby Doo, than Space Ghost, than Speed Buggy, next day will have Jabberjaw, "Flinstones", & "Gobots", and than more Yogi. They didn't have a fixed schedule like other channels, just playing shows at random often mixing short segments like Space Ghost, & full 30 minute shows like "The Flintstones".
the great space coaster? that show was more of a morning live action kids shows with some animated bits.
I remember a few gems on from the USA Cartoon networks. they threw in a lot of short run shows aka one season wonders. some of the space ghost, Herculoids, and teen force shows are from the Space Stars series from 1981. they showed none of the 60's run of space ghost and herculoids. I also discover a lot of gems I never seens before back in the day. Inch high private eye, Sport Billy, Hair bear bunch, Wheelie, Devilin, Roman holidays, and space kidettes were in rotation during one season of the USA cartoon express until the next year they brought in Jana of the jungle, clue club, Space Ghost, Teen Force, and Herculoids from the space stars series. Captain caveman and the teen angels, Jabberjaw, grape ape, speed buggy, Dinomutt, and hong kong phoey as replacements.
@Jim Gisriel, you forgot to mention Toxic Crusaders and Swamp Thing: The Animated Series, which aired for 3 months on USA Cartoon Express from September 12 to December 26, 1992.

I used to watch The Real Ghostbusters, (Slimer! and) The Real Ghostbusters, G.I. Joe, The Smurfs, Scooby-Doo, Dinosaucers, Denver, the Last Dinosaur, Mighty Mouse, Heckle & Jeckle, Deputy Dawg, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and other shows all the time on USA.

Whenever I look up shows that aired on USA Cartoon Express. I always notice that sources always leave out a live action show, that aired in its Sunday morning block in the early to mid 80s. It was a 70s tv series called Korg 70,000 B.C. . I have clear memories of wondering why they were showing live action show as part of their cartoon block as a kid.
Because it was a Hanna Barbera production. Although, I can’t find any sources of them airing it.
At this time I managed a Service Merchandise, we put this on the TV section when it was on as it was saccharine sweet and inoffensive but I'm not gonna lie all of us employees liked to watch as we worked.
I do believe you forgot "Turbo Teen", the Mr. T cartoon, Snaggelpuss, Moby Dick and Mighty Mightor & Dynomutt and Blue Falcon as list of "Cartoon Express" shows.
Turbo Teen, Mr. T and Dynomutt were mentioned, there's nothing I could find of Moby Dick and the Mighty Mightor airing on USA and Snagglepuss aired as part of Quick Draw McGraw.

@@ryanwalterson5490 I don't believe they did. TBS aired The Flintstones all the time. I was also alive back then, haha, and don't remember seeing The Flintstones episodes on it. But hey, it's fun having a debate.

Those weren’t part of the regular Cartoon Express block
Caliope aired right before the cartoon express however some sites do list it as part of cartoon express. It would air right before cartoon express in the mornings then moved to sunday mornings later.
