Adam Neil they got blown out by a rookie qb and a team that finished 4-12 last year.
@@Zach2017 the Jets are very much improved from last year, better wr corps, better RBs, added trumaine johnson at CB, and lots of improving young talented defenders, Maye, Adams, lee, williams & Jenkins...Thats an 8 or 9 win team
its not a good sign when your team basically quits on you 1 game into your season. We aren't even midway through and players are already talking about how much they dont like him. Im not saying he's gonna be a failure but he's started off about as bad as it can get.
If even two of those Stafford picks turn instead into Detroit TDs, it's a 17 point loss. That's before you take into account a late score that the defense probably didn't give their all on because they knew the game was over. Now we're at a 10 point loss. Candy and nuts I know. But point is, this was one guy having arguably the worst game of his 7.5 year career. Not a team problem. And Stafford simply can't be that bad again coming up.
Exactly bro the players have had it way too easy and now matty p making them work and they playing a game...those players wont be around next year once he gets players who want to work hard and win then we will be set...i almost garuntee there were lions players who tipped the jets before the game i can bet on it they lazy and dont want to compete at a championship level Patricia has to work with what he has and the bad ones will be fished out by next year Glover quin already getting play time cut if that says anything about their work ethic

It's a pissant argument for the insistence of a specific coaching tree to be more successful than Belichick's tree, considering how Jim Schwartz of the Belichick tree coached a superbowl winning defence under Doug Peterson's Reid tree. Intersectionality makes Cowherd's opinion moot.

Being a genius has nothing to do with being a mentor. These are cherry picked examples from Colin simply to try and strengthen his point of view.
Of all the things Colin said in this video, geniuses not being great mentors makes the most sense - he's absolutely right about that.

Bill Walsh was someone who had personal relationships with a lot of his players, and he is (in my opinion) the greatest coach who ever lived. So did Al Davis. Stephen Hawking and Neil DeGrasse Tyson are great mentors who preach(ed) patience. Really don't know what this clown is talking about. It varies from person to person.
5 years later the train wreck that was Patricia is over, and Dan Campbell has turned us around.

I think you are misinterpreting the context of the conversation. Elon Musk is the class of his field, as is Bill Belicheck. Genius defined means a person who is exceptionally intelligent or creative, either generally or in some particular respect. Is that not Beliceck? I cant stand the Pats, but HCBB is an absolute football genius.

To think we took Patricia over Caldwell baffles me. Say what you will about Caldwell, but he is truly a respectful man of character and I know I miss him already.
Honestly I’ve been listening to cowherd for years; this is one of his best takes. He still has a few rough ones under his belt, but this was great.

I'd want that O Line coach out of all of his coaches because that guy works miracles, he even tried to retire, the O Line went into the tank and they had to give him a much better deal for him to come back. Yah, never trust the Defense coaches coming out of NE for HC JOBS.

@@AsylumSaint belichick is 18-17 in NE without Brady, and 224-65 with. He was also only 37-45 in Cleveland. So if you add it all up Belichick is 55-62 without Brady and 224-65 with him. If you remove Brady from Bill's history, he likely never is considered the greatest coach.

Jim Swartz was a good headcoach for the lions. Every body knows outside of the state of Texas, the Lions beat dallas in the playoffs in 2014.

Like I’ve been saying, pats defense last year was bottom 5, Patricia was defensive coordinator does that not get looked at? If anything make some magic and you could’ve got McDaniels with Stafford. They wanted to repair the defense by firing a coach that had a 9-7 season for a coach that can’t handle the position and had a bottom 5 defense
