Apparently George Clooney was an early supporter of the beginning of South Park as he would be e-mailing the "The Spirit of Christmas" short film to some of his friends. This helped the video becoming one of the first "viral videos" on the internet back in 1995. Two years later South Park debuted on Comedy Central the creators cast him as a "gay dog" named Sparky that runs away from home and joins Big Gay Al's Big Gay Animal Sanctuary. And two years after that he would star in the film as an ER doctor, which is funny considering that he was the star of the long running medical drama ER at the time.
Kenny is my favorite of the group. One may not understand what he's saying most of the time because of his orange parka covering his mouth, but he actually has lines of dialogue, it's not all gibberish. lol Regarding the characters of *_Terrance & Phillip,_* from the South Park Wikia: _In South Park, Terrance and Phillip are the stars of a popular television show._ _This show-within-a-show serves an interesting role; the parents of the South Park characters view Terrance and Phillip's obsessive fart gags in much the same way that many parents in the real world view South Park - with considerable contempt._ _Terrance and Phillip are Beavis and Butt-Head in the South Park world. Matt and Trey have said in the past that to them Beavis and Butt-Head were like "the blues. It's the same thing over and over, but it's always good"._ _More evidence of this is the South Park movie being a satire on the fire controversy of 1993 when a Moraine, Ohio mother blamed the cartoon for her son setting their trailer on fire killing his 2-year-old sister (Kenny lighting his fart on fire). Mike Judge voiced Kenny at the end of the movie._ _Matt and Trey have also stated that the characters were in response to the critics claiming the show was nothing but fart humor._
I'm surprised that you did a full reaction considering that it's 80 minutes, I was prepared to watch an edited reaction to Bigger, Longer & Uncut. I think you mentioned it at the start but you must have frankensteined 2 videos together and it's pretty seamless, I haven't really noticed the movie going out of sync so good job. I cant wait for your Malcolm in the Middle reaction since you may have to stitch a full reaction together. And yeah in the season 10 two part episode "Cartoon Wars" they mock Family Guy, their use of the cutaway gags, and the discourse surrounding the depiction of the prophet Muhamad. It also satirizes topics such as censorship and terrorism. I hope the manatees is only twist that you know of because I want to see your reaction to that episode. By the way are you still reacting to 2 South Park episodes a month, or was the film a substitute?
This film is my substitute for the month. And yeah the only thing I know about is the manatees. LOL And yeah you called it, I was able to do this reaction in two sittings but the editing made it seamless. Which means we're definitely a go for Malcom.
I played the movie in an other tab so this was a really great time watching your reaction :D
George Clooney voiced the doctor in the ER
Mike Judge voiced Kenny at the end
That's great voice casting.
