There's a behind the scenes video that shows how they made it. I think everything was actually done slower in real life and they sped up the video.
The drone was on a cart at the beginning and then launched relanded for some more face shots and then relaunched. The cadence that the choreograph dancers were speaking, was not originally part of the song but they liked the way that it sounded so they kept it in the music video.
