This is basically the best set in a week after Shuton vs Zackray last Saturday , not only Quidd with amazing offense and the crowd behind him , but also Muteace piloting through the most dire situation , truly fantastic play from both sides
Locals, encore is his main local (he beat light at one before this) but theres also fusion and online tournaments. At EON recently he beat Jakal and Zomba
It’s super cool to see Pokémon Trainer back in high levels of American Majors after the char went through a dry spot after Tweek dropped the char. Also Quidd seems to be extremely good with all 3 Pokémon, which is awesome. Tri State is probably the 3rd best region in the world, behind Mexico and Japan. The region just has so many incredible players with the likes of Tweek, Dabuz, Jakal, Zomba, Quidd,etc

lol they both had so much representation before, pokemon trainer used to have Tweek, Ned and moxi, and then there is also Atelier in japan, then peach had the S man and still has Umeki in japan
I believe he's ranked 5-6th In New York area and he just started competing last year. The fact that he is 17 and is newish to competing and now won a major is insane. People will definitely need to watch out for QUIDD because that Ivysaur is the best I've ever seen

Its weird but cool seeing these new names post pandemic. People getting cancelled might have been what this game needed to grow. The removal of these seemingly unbeatable players since smash4 like sam and nairo from the competitive scene allowed these new players to explode in growth.
Nah, Sparg0's still the best prodigy by far. He hasn't gotten worse then top 3 at a recent event and is top 2 in the world rn. Quidd and Zomba are absolutely cracked, but Sparg0 is the next Leo.
