City are second on the table, level on points with Tottenham with 14 points from six matches.

@@esausello8807 Guys We shouldn't expect Haaland to score from EVERY chance he gets you know. He made good contact on a right foot strike but keeper saved well while KDB tried to place his effort but was wide. He also hit the crossbar from a free kick which beat the keeper clean but just unlucky

First Foden, now Walker. This team didnt play like this last season. We are team play, we pass all the time. So why all of a sudden with Haaland in the team, most of the players decided not to pass and try to score themselves? Why? That Walker failed to pass to Haaland have cost us 2 points.

Imo, when a defender starts an attack 0:57 and runs for 30 metres to provide an option for the attacking players and this option is so good that he receives the ball back and finds himself iin a goal-scoring position he has every right to try to score.
Haaland doesn't have to get upset like a kiddo, especially considering how many moments he has during a single match (and how tall he is).
He and others had chances but didn't score.

In games like this, with this situation, Pep would probably bring Alvarez on. His pace and ability to hit target from tight angles is incredible. There was space for a type of player like him to exploit in this match.

IF walker had played a simple pass to his left to Haaland. As he ran into the box it would have been a far better / easier chance to score than blazing it . It's SO fustrating when you have one of the best No. 9 / CF in the league and players do not feed him easy chances

Our passing was poor. Need to get haaland the ball when he makes those runs or is in dangerous position...just assume he will get there and deliver it.
I know bailey was going to cause problems for us this is who he his in big games in the Bundesliga he have these moments when he sparks sometimes completly change the game as have seen in Man U preseason game, he come into the EPL as a injured player imagine him healthy .

Too many back and side passes by City players throughout the whole game. Foden and Silva were kept quiet by the full backs of Villa. Especially Foden, I did not see him run past a defender. Pep should have replaced him with Alvarez in the second half.

Their goal could have been prevented. Stones could have nod the ball skillfully back to ederson. Many defenders do it. It's dangerous to nod the ball to that area he did. This is hindsight though. Easy to say now.

Since joining them he had become the number 1 keeper for his national team Argentina. He is happy at Villa because they believed in him when no other premier team did.
