Welding in New Spring Perches - VW Vanagon Westfalia Van Life

The spring perches on my Volkswagen Westfalia van were completely rusted out and were in desperate need of some new metal. My good friend Corey volunteered to help me weld in some new perches, so we decided to just give it a go fixing them our selves.
This is total DIY and clearly neither myself or Corey are mechanics, so keep that in mind while watching our handy work haha. We were just figuring it out as we go.
I am sure you will notice my very rusty rear arches haha. I will be replacing those this month.

The van is a 1987 Volkswagen Vanagon Westfalia edition. Slowly restoring this bad boy to its former glory.
