- When creating section views, you may be tempted to place them in the same drawing as your corridor model. While this is possible, Civil 3D actually makes it easy to placesection views in ANY drawing while still maintaining a dynamic link to the data. In this session we'll learn how to sample Civil 3D data through an XREF.
I find all of Jeff's videos awesome to a lot of unique situations and are very helpful.
Good video. THis workflow is essentially good but caution is that if you are using civil 3d 2015 and below..the cross sections won't update well. You would need a workaround. Thanks for 2017 ...the workflow is now smoother. We can reference corridors.
Excellent concise video. The successful final product is dependent on all of the code set style and section view style settings used in $sample_Template2.dwt and $sample_Layout.dwt. This is one of the most overlooked aspects of being able to use Civil 3D effectively. Are these DWTs and others available for download?
How to change to x10 scale?
Hi, Jeff. Love your videos. I've been trying to get DOTS for my grids like you have (using LT scales) but have been unsuccessful at getting them to line up correctly. Do you have any tips or tricks on how to make dot grids you'd like to share?
Still need to know this. I've yet to find a good solution.
Nice video. But please I just want to know how to create and add culverts into plan, profile and section view in civil 3D
Great video!! Thanks
How could create that corridor intersection?
+Fabricio Camargo Hi Fabricio, if you are interested in how the intersection was modeled, I am including a link to the playlist showing how I put it together... th-cam.com/video/z6TrGT9-Imk/w-d-xo.html
Can someone tell me if this video is using the drawing template that ships with Civil3D or has it been modified. Thx
How did you change that cross section to scale 10
Jeff Your video is good, pls. Unlock your video on google regarding sample line & x-section tutor....
