- In this (4 min) video, I show how you can perform some quick surface analysis in Civil 3D using the AECCCREATEQUICKCROSSSECTIONS command. In short, this is a non-destructive form of analysis in that when the command is complete all geometry generated by the command is removed. (Very similar in concept to the Quick Profile command)

well done! I DO like this! Wondering if you can select multiple surfaces within the AECCREATEQUICKCROSSSECTIONS command. I will give this command a look-see when I strap back in to the command station HQ. Thanks so much, you have great delivery and confidence in your tutorials, really enjoy! Mike
how to save quick crossection ?
muy interesante, desconocia de este tip
That's really good, how can slopes be added to cross sections created from a single surface where there is no corridor?
Hi - thanks for the video. Could you share the "road section" style?
Nice tutorial.
What if I want to keep the quick sections in a file? Thanks.
I thought the same thing. 4 years later and maybe you figured this out already, Did you? My guess is that I will be taking screen snapshots when I try this out on my own. Hope you are well!
How do I create a TIN surface? I try to use the command but it says that my dwg doesn't have one.

Tqu sir
What is I don't wanna delete them ?
When you save CIVIL 3D DWG file quick section / profile view disappear. Don't save CIVIL 3D dwg file and use _EXPORTC3DDRAWING command. Then open the "flat" exported DWG, copy and paste the section/profile view into CIVIL 3D DWG file. Now save CIVIL 3D DWG file.
nonsense -- why delete
