Yet another absolutely beautifully executed space by NS. One of the many things I admire most about your approach is that nothing is cookie cutter; everything is customized to meet the needs of your client and to work within the unique constraints of the specific site.
Thanks for the update! Glad you're still partnering with Materia, too. Love the way you detail glitches and their resolutions as you've done since the beginning. Details rule!
That lower room millwork is fantastic. I love the detail of the different wood on the front and back side of the door. How are you going to stop the lower closet door hitting the stair? The handrail in the niche is genius! Can you comment on the brickwork and whether or not it could have been cleaned up to remove the old stair profiles?
That is looking really good. I don't think i could ever live in a brownstone, but if that was a vacation rental i would definitely be happy staying there! How come less videos lately? I honestly had forgotten about this project.
Thanks for sharing, Nick! Do you all have one super intendant/project manager running this job and is this his only job going on at the moment? Lots of details to think about through here. Do your super-intendants/pm’s do fill-in work and pickup tools or do they delegate protection/fill in work to an assistant role? I’m a PM for a design-build company in Louisville and love to see how other companies are structured
Your crutch word is actually. Consider not using it. The work you have done is incredible so you don't need a crutch word to emphasize your accomplishment. I do a lot of public speaking and have learned about crutch words and how they distract from your message. Good work on the brownstone. I have already started to incorporate some of your details in my project. Amazing craftsmanship
Was waiting for the guy cleaning the shower to go "Hey, can you move that bucket back so I can get out?" when you left the bathroom.
😂

Enjoyed the video! Thanks for using Keuka Studios for the stairs.

Beautiful as usual! What's the link to the magnet hardware?
Some interesting looking piping going on in the mechanical room. Is there radiant heating? Or a bunch of zones?

One super per project
The entertainment area. What wood did you guys use that was stained walnut.
Killed it per usual! Is there a place we can order the framed glass shower door?
Dunno if you'd know, but who makes the medicine cabinet in the bathroom? thanks Nick.
What brand of floor outlet is that please?
Do you have the specs for those recessed LED lights in that walnut mill work
Sad to see no original details of the home left but I guess its the clients tastes
Those were gone long before they even owned the home

When is Festool going to bring back the RAS, man?!
So glad I got one before they did away with it. I’m terrified of not being able to replace it should something happen to it.
