Thanks for your great review. I was a diehard pull-along canister vacuum cleaner user for decades. When my last one died, I got the Shark Stratos HZ3000, which I’ve been using for six months. I got corded because I didn’t want to deal with batteries wearing out eventually like with a handheld that I had. I’ve always had a cat or two, and this Stratos does a great job vacuuming cat hair. I highly recommend it with two caveats: 1) Sometimes the cup is hard to pull out. At first, I thought I was going to break it, but firmly yanking it out causes no harm. 2) Last week I sprinkled baking soda over my carpet and left it for a while to deodorize. After vacuuming for about 15 minutes, the motor stopped. That fine baking soda had clogged the machine. I almost cried, thinking it was broken. I took everything apart and cleaned the filters, letting them dry overnight. I put everything back together and the machine worked like new. If I ever decide to do a baking soda treatment again, I will empty the cup every couple of minutes. (Or I might get an inexpensive canister vacuum with a bag system for heavy duty projects like that.)
I've had mine a whole year and ZERO issues. It's awesome on hard floors and carpet. Very powerful! Super convenient if you have carpeted stairs. My fave go-to if I don't want to get out my Stratos upright. 👍
How does this vacuum works for wall+floor 90° edge and corner? Because i can see you left 1 bit there when you vacuuming the edge, it's not get sucked in.
How do I take the red roller off, my vacumn got a hold of a thread spelnothat was under my couch ,so the thread is all rolled up on the edge of the roller,. Tried curring if off with no luck. Need to remove the red roller in order to get that thread out. That roller will no longer, turn😢Your assistance would be very appreciated❤
I have had mine for almost a year. All of the sudden the front roller will make 1 rotation and then it stops rotating and the red light comes on. I have taken the front roller off, checked all filters, and the whole thing for any type of blockage. I haven’t come across anything thing. I just don’t know how to take off the back roller. Was hoping you would have gone over that in your review.

Thanks for sharing!
There’s a hook on the front of the wand labeled “ hand vac hook” that’s where you store the hand vac so it stands upright
You should compare that to the upright Stratos
good one, thanks
Are both sides of the dust bin supposed to fill up, or just the small side without the “cone”

With my Stratos, I find that sometimes I need to use the crevice tool to touch up the edges.

How easy/convenient is it to put it into the stowed position so that it stands upright?
they need to make the hepa or fine dust filter washable.. these vacuums are like printers.. they want you to spend money on ink/filters
I wash mine lol 😂
I feel like mine lifts off the carpet when I pull backwards. Is that normal?
Not normal. Mine does not
No mention of the second filter and the importance of which way round they go.
He did mention two filters

me too , same
Would you recommend this to someone who wants a vacuum for a household with mostly carpet?
Agreed would be good to know
I've had mine a year. Works great on carpet. Cord is 30 feet so plenty of reach.
Mine doesn’t stand up right and it’s brand new, does anyone else have that problem?
I’m having that same issue!
