I watched a video of a Muslim woman speaking at an event about women's rights or something like that, and she revealed she was approached by a non Muslim organisation of some kind, who basically (after a long-winded conversation full of euphemisms) they would pretty much fund her to keep making videos about such topics, with a specifically anti-Islamic slant (e.g. Islam being incompatible with women's rights, LGBT rights, and so on). She was shocked by the proposition and realised theres a huge industry promoting these people and their videos.

what these people failed to understand is, Arabs used to be proud of the Arabic fasah and poetry. the poet used to have a high status in the qabilah ( tribes). While the Prophet was praying at home one night, the leading figures of the polytheists such as Abu Sufyan( later become Muslim, may Allah be pleased with him), Abu Jahl and Ahnas, stood hidden in the darkness and listened to the recitation of the Qur’an. Clearly, the hearts were unable to escape from the delightful, fascinating effects of the Qur’an. the pagan Arab Quraysh tried their utmost best to destroy and criticise Islam but criticising the Quran's irreplicable eloquence was never on the table. they knew better, unlike these guys.
Well, the Quraysh did not take the poetry seriously.. everyone was doing that, so they did not bother. Fundamentally, they had political and theological dispute with Prophet not the text. For anyone who knows Arabic, I found this and would like an opinion of someone who knows the language please: In Quran 22:19 "These are two disputants who have disputed concerning their Lord." (Arberry) "haazaani Khismani 'ikhtasamuu fi rabbihim ..." In Arabic the verbs and nouns are treated according to the singular or the dual or the plural. The verb in that verse was conjugated as if the subject is more than two. But the verse speaks only of two. So the rules of the dual should be followed and the word 'ikhtasamuu should be 'ikhtasamaa.
I think this exMuslim has confused Tabari's statement with some other writer and mistakenly started thinking that Tabari pointed out the mistake. No wonder why he names Tabari as Jalaludin Tabari. A 5th grader cant do such a mistake that these exMuslims are making. Or may be they dont even care following the footsteps of CP. But CP is at least smart and leaves no real name and ID and it's quite possible that Christians will be blaming Muslims to plant fake Christian scholar to defame Christianity. Once i was watching their live stream on sana'a Manuscript of quran they were trying to demonstrate the mistakes of Qur'an or trying to proof that there is more then one Qur'ans then they mentioned a name Aasma Hilali that she is writing a book on it which hasn't been released at that time then after some time i was watching a video of Dr. Shabir Aly and he recommended the same book by Aasma Hilali and i was shocked. So my point is they are bunch of masaqeens who do not know what they are doing and they have personal problems and grudges with Islam because of "desi culture" rather then genuine objections or academic points.

I watched a video of a Muslim woman speaking at an event about women's rights or something like that, and she revealed she was approached by a non Muslim organisation of some kind, who basically (after a long-winded conversation full of euphemisms) they would pretty much fund her to keep making videos about such topics, with a specifically anti-Islamic slant (e.g. Islam being incompatible with women's rights, LGBT rights, and so on). She was shocked by the proposition and realised theres a huge industry promoting these people and their videos.

what these people failed to understand is, Arabs used to be proud of the Arabic fasah and poetry. the poet used to have a high status in the qabilah ( tribes).

Clearly, the hearts were unable to escape from the delightful, fascinating effects of the Qur’an. the pagan Arab Quraysh tried their utmost best to destroy and criticise Islam but criticising the Quran's irreplicable eloquence was never on the table. they knew better, unlike these guys.
Well, the Quraysh did not take the poetry seriously.. everyone was doing that, so they did not bother. Fundamentally, they had political and theological dispute with Prophet not the text. Even in today's time you disagree with context and a person who is saying and presenting something not with the grammar of a policy clause.

For anyone who knows Arabic, I found this and would like an opinion of someone who knows the language please:
In Quran 22:19 "These are two disputants who have disputed concerning their Lord." (Arberry)
"haazaani Khismani 'ikhtasamuu fi rabbihim ..."
In Arabic the verbs and nouns are treated according to the singular or the dual or the plural. The verb in that verse was conjugated as if the subject is more than two. But the verse speaks only of two. So the rules of the dual should be followed and the word 'ikhtasamuu should be 'ikhtasamaa.
I think this exMuslim has confused Tabari's statement with some other writer and mistakenly started thinking that Tabari pointed out the mistake. No wonder why he names Tabari as Jalaludin Tabari. A 5th grader cant do such a mistake that these exMuslims are making. Or may be they dont even care following the footsteps of CP. But CP is at least smart and leaves no real name and ID and it's quite possible that Christians will be blaming Muslims to plant fake Christian scholar to defame Christianity.
Means these exMuslims have no excuse to disown their mistakes as CP does because they are showing their faces and IDs.

Once i was watching their live stream on sana'a Manuscript of quran they were trying to demonstrate the mistakes of Qur'an or trying to proof that there is more then one Qur'ans then they mentioned a name Aasma Hilali that she is writing a book on it which hasn't been released at that time then after some time i was watching a video of Dr. Shabir Aly and he recommended the same book by Aasma Hilali and i was shocked. So my point is they are bunch of masaqeens who do not know what they are doing and they have personal problems and grudges with Islam because of "desi culture" rather then genuine objections or academic points.
