Have you forgotten about part two,.......Just askin, I think a lot of us are looking forward to your impressions even if there is no video though that would be nice. I'd just like to know did you put an action in the stock, did you use it and did it meet or exceed your expectations ? Regards From 🇦🇺
Calven McCullough I have not forgotten. If you look at my previous responses, global warming kicked in and provided my part of the country with -20° weather :-). Al Gore is fumbling around with this one! Once I can get a break with decent weather, I'll finish Part 2
Ashley Loney Bell and Carlson makes the worst composite stock on the market. Their customer service is even worse. When we sold B&C, we never saw more defective product with no manufacturer support come through our doors. Dumping the B&C product line was cause for celebration.
Hi Jason,I see what you mean with B&C stocks but looking closely at the German stock it also appears flat on the inletting whereas the tikka action at the action lugs is scalloped or curved if you like, wouldn't this stock also rock under recoil like the B&C does? Needles to say I good rid of my B&C real fast but don't want the same problem twice, have you shot thus yet? Cheers
Bobby Radovanovic The inlet on the B&C is completely wrong and that's why most of them have accuracy issues. You could never lock the action in place in a B&C like I do in the video. After hundreds of rounds with the GGS, there has been no accuracy issues. The inlet is solid. This is fast becoming my favorite stock. Once the weather cooperates, I'll get the second part of this review completed. 8" of snow just today!
Bobby Radovanovic I'm not selling these at the moment so Thomas at GGS is your guy! I might sell them in the future. It's a quality product and would fit into our product line very well. If we sold them, GGS would have to lower their price so we could make money on them as well. Coming from the perspective of a small business owner myself, cash flow is everything in the beginning and I want GGS to make the money so they can expand their market share faster. Hopefully that makes sense. Cheers!
BamBamPictures I'll work on getting it posted in a couple weeks. There's a competition I want to shoot with the rifle. Hopefully the finale will be this stock on a podium.
BamBamPictures Thanks! They are great rifles. Last year we dubbed this competition the Polar Comp because it was -10° as the high for the day. Hopefully this year is more forgiving!
Jay Cupples We are considering becoming the US distributor, but our poor experience with GRS has me hesitating. The import fees are ridiculous. Luckily, GGS is willing to ship directly to customers in the US
Great in depth review. I look forward to part two but I should take delivery of my GGS Predator stock in the next few weeks. They are obviously a bit of an unknown quantity but this review has eased my mind in regards to my unseen / online purchase. Thomas is a champ to deal with, that also means a lot to me personally.
Have a .308 Tikka Tac A1 that i absolutely love, but thinking about selling it and putting a stainless CTR in one of their Ranger stocks. Would save a lot of weight, like 3lbs. Love my Tac, but its a bit of a beast, and would like to take it more places so i can shoot it more... Thanks for the vid
German Gun Club yep here in the states a lot of people use the grovtec flushcups but it should all be made to a standard size and work just fine. Ever thought about adding a piece of 1913 rail on the bottom of the stock for guys running bipods like an atlas that has quick detach throw lever? Just a idea
grr ummmpee We are coming out with a bottom metal that won't require modification. Check out our Mountain Tactical Facebook page to see that development.
I'm glad to see a review on these been looking at them . I'd like to see some video of you putting it through its paces.
Jay Cupples I hope to have Part 2 up in a couple weeks. I'm using the rifle in a competition and want to get some footage there.

Cant wait for part II. What is your take on the Bell and Carlson vs This one
Ashley Loney Bell and Carlson makes the worst composite stock on the market. Their customer service is even worse.
When we sold B&C, we never saw more defective product with no manufacturer support come through our doors.
Dumping the B&C product line was cause for celebration.
Tikka Shooters thank you for the insight! looks like this is the stock for me
Very cool stock....
What other options might I have for a new stock on my LH Tikka T3 Lite in 30-06?
That stock looks really awesome. Cant wait for part 2. Thank you for your effort for sharing your thoughts in a video with us.

Tikka Shooters cheers Jason, looking forward, are you selling these in your shop already or do I buy from GGS,I'm in New Zealand by the way

Awesome review! Can't wait to hear your update in part 2.
Nice Review and very nice stock! When's part 2 online?
BamBamPictures I'll work on getting it posted in a couple weeks. There's a competition I want to shoot with the rifle. Hopefully the finale will be this stock on a podium.
Good luck for your competition!
I own a Tikka T3 CTR myself and absolutly love it! Thinking about buying one of these stocks in the future :D
BamBamPictures Thanks! They are great rifles.
Last year we dubbed this competition the Polar Comp because it was -10° as the high for the day. Hopefully this year is more forgiving!
Is this a stock y'all are considering stock them here in states and become a dealer?
Jay Cupples We are considering becoming the US distributor, but our poor experience with GRS has me hesitating. The import fees are ridiculous.

Thanks for this Review, Jason!

Hey can you send Jason the other two stocks you make for review and testing?
Where's part 2? How did it shoot? He emailed me pricing to Canada and it seems reasonable...
Is part 2 of this review with you using it on the range gonna be posted?

That would be a great combo!
Is this chassis compatible with the CDI BDM conversion or would that require additional inletting?
Shannon S This could be inlet for a CDI bottom metal. You would want to order one with the standard bottom metal inlet for the best fit.
Thanks for this Review, very interesting ...
i have this muzzle brake on a T3 tactical 300 Win Mag, excellent result...
German Gun Stock is a great company. All their products we have tested have performed very well. And they look badass!
My 6 week wait is over. Stock (Ranger) and brake should be here next week.
yipeeeeeee
Excellent!!!
I think being able to purchase the stock with flush cups on the sides of the stock would be a good option to offer.
Jay Cupples That's a great idea! I installed them myself on this one which will be seen in Part 2.
I'll pass the suggestion on to GGS.
Thanks!
Hey Jay, since today we got QD (from EraTac) as an Option for our Stocks (I think you mean QD with Flush Cups)
German Gun Club yep here in the states a lot of people use the grovtec flushcups but it should all be made to a standard size and work just fine. Ever thought about adding a piece of 1913 rail on the bottom of the stock for guys running bipods like an atlas that has quick detach throw lever? Just a idea
The short Picatinny Rail on the front is an option from the first day. we got it on our own too.
Where is part two?
Where's part 2? nice review
jared bennett I'm waiting for the weather to brake to film the last part. It's been 27 below 0 here. Fun!
will these accept aics bottom metal without modification?
grr ummmpee We are coming out with a bottom metal that won't require modification.
Check out our Mountain Tactical Facebook page to see that development.
Ask them to send you the other #2 stocks they make, "for review."👍🏻
SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!!!
Have you been making part 2?
Hugo Salamonsen I'm going to publish Part 1.5 next week. A local Cerakote shop ruined the rifle I put in it so it's delayed.
Looking forward to it. Thanks a lot :)
Precision is the name of the game for German products.ps can somebody get that guy in the background a McDonalds. He looks a bit pale....
