One of the characters make it pretty clear that he basically lost his mind to paranoia because he hadn't been able to save the life of his lifelong friend (i.e the former king before Delgal) who he actually grew up with since childhood. With that in mind there is probably more than meets the eye for his story.
Omg I’ve sun the anime for the first time and I finished it in a few days last week. And to be painfully honest I’m still reeling for season 2 to come out, the anime is just so good and the food that was made in there made me want to try them too (‘cause I’m not very picky)! 😫
