I got flashbacks from wireless Belmonts when smash was in its opening months
I named my Simon Amiibo Trevor, from Trevor Belmont from Castlevania 3. When richter comes out, I’ll probably call him Leon, the grandfather of the Belmont family, and Richter’s 8th alt is similar time what Leon actually wears.
Also 2:29, once of the best boss music from DKCR, love it!
Edit: Fav Belmont is either Richter or Leon. Which is why I LOVE richters 8th alt

As a Richter Main, I approve of this image of Perfect Belmont.
Juste is my personal favorite Belmont. He's just about the only Belmont to properly wield and perform magic with extreme skill, his movement options are insane (he's incredibly fast gameplay-wise, even moreso than Alucard without transformations), and he traversed through Dracula's Castle twice, like Alucard, which makes him the only Belmont to canonically travel through Dracula's castle twice successfully (Simon didn't necessarily travel through Dracula's Castle in PT. 2, he searched everywhere for the pieces of Dracula.) His story is also pretty cool. Oh and he borrows moves from every Belmont, like Hydro Storm from Richter and Grand Cross from uh... Richter.
That and he's the direct grandson of Simon, so that's pretty awesome too.

Puka_ PlayZ Either you’re just getting another youtuber’s amiibo confused for one of choctopus’s or the video was privated for some reason, because I checked the raid boss videos playlist and all of choctopus’s videos released since the incineroar amiibo’s release date (Sept. 20) and there wasn’t an incineroar video. Also, The only thing that shows up when searching “incineroar raid boss” is a guide choctopus made on how to play the character.

Gianluk Gianluca Toon Link’s age is never explicitly stated in canon, the strongest evidence is theorizing based on canon info, which a lot of people use to say “16+” for him. The Brawl trophy came before Hyrule Historia and is stated to not be canon, anyways.
And, while he’s “Young” Link in this game, he still is representing Ocarina of Time - in which he’s seen as both 10 and 17.

For a Castlevania game I'd recommend Symphony of the Night. Probably the most well known one, however it's story, gameplay and bosses just deserve to be the best known imo. It's length is also huge, like "this would be a DLC these days" huge.
A Hero Amiibo would honestly be perfect. Hero already has the funny and broken factors, so he would be like a raid boss squared or something like that. That would be so funny!

I’d recommend Rondo of Blood, Symphony of the Night, or if possible Aria of Sorrow. That being said, I’ve never played a Castlevania game but my interest has grown over the years.

2: This is tough, mainly because there are many good castlevania games, so I'll say two for different reasons:
A: Aria of sorrow, as while it's easier, it might be a good refresher on metroidvanias because of it not being too hard
B: Symphony of the night, obvious pick but it's at least decently harder than aria of sorrow, and would be a lot more fun for me if I wasn't super bad at metroidvanias sometimes.

Julius is an amazing Belmont! I love his battles with Soma.
Don't stress about not having any of the Special Move ^ spirits. They increase all the damage less than a specialized one. If you're looking to spam one or maybe two specific abilities then go for the targeted ones. The damage output is so much better over the course of a whole match
Hey Choctopus. Been liking your videos recently (good content). As a HUGE Castlevania fan, I suggest that you give Symphony of the Night a try. It's for ps1 but you can get the 360 version on the xbox store. It's very different gameplay compared to the older games, but most newer ones play just like it. If you wanna get back into the series, that's the place to start. Anyways, keep doing you. Cant wait for the next raid boss.

1 .Would highly recommend getting the anniversary collection it's 20 bucks (If you haven't already)
2. My most favorite Belmont is Simon for not only being the Belmont who's appeared in more games then anyone else,
but also for storyline reasons like how he accepted his duty, didn't complain, and killed Dracula twice.
Richter is also cool but he didn't want to do his duties until his girlfriend got kidnapped and also almost killed of the entire clan.
3. So apparently Simon was 29 in Castlevania 2. imma just assume the smash version is like in his mid 30's

I recommend Aria of Sorrow for GBA, and then Dawn of Sorrow on DS as an introduction to the DS games in general. Portrait of Ruin and Order of Ecclesia are both amazing.
