I really thing that this is what sets his game apart from 90% of the other players- his timing is so precise- you never see him "lunge" for the ball or rarely look out of position.
Everytime the opponent strikes the ball, Roger split steps! Just listen to the sound of the ball being hit & look at Roger's feet. It's like clockwork!
@@victorbicudo1374 Doesn't matter what I sound like. I just admiring RF's timing. Splitting right as your opponent strikes the ball is insanely fast. Most high level amateurs react a fraction slower. Just watch 4.5 match play on channels like Tennis Troll.
It’s so beautiful to watch. He makes it look so easy. He’s practisng different kinds of FH, but his footwork and contact point are always the same. I wish I knew how he sees the ball so early .Beauty in motion !
To imagine he was still walking around on crutches a little while ago to participating in a tennis tournament at this age you gotta tip your hat to him
This was taken from dumbuhalong ponjob’s page - I just edited together the best clips and condensed it into a shorter video. I believe he was using a samsung phone though
@@thefedererexpress7609 broo, im pretty in love with thiem and i was like thats thiem right, but i was like why wud the no 1 and no 2 seed be practicing together lol
No Thiem. Millman hits two handed backhand. Also, from the player's backhand preparation (the way he holds the racquet and grip) we can see that it's Thiem.
Let s all be real djokovic federer and nadal must all be doping and atp is too afraid to check them and announce the results because it would lose lotssss of its fanbase they might as well make doping legal at this case
if I were Evans, I'd try a lot of stop volleys. Roger is clearly not going to run for those. his knee isn't stable. what we see here is just his talent making up for his lack of placement. He won't make it through the first confrontation if his footwork remains like this
He does look a little slow on his feet. I hope he comes back but two surgeries and 40 years old I’m guessing he doesn’t. I think Wimbledon will be his last tournament.
Federer is therapy. Watching him play heals you. Its like doing meditation. You forget all your problems and just dissolve in his shots. Pure bliss.
Federer's looking sharp. That's a very good sign.
His footwork is so precise. Fun to watch.

The balls have so much pop. Never knew how much I missed this play style.
What “play style” would that be?
@@Prin_Cess_007 perfect play style

dude, that's tennis basics.
Literally everyone does that
I am 4.5 & I wish my split stepping was that fast & consistent LOL
@@michaelyoong44 yeah, you don't "sound" like a 4.5 LOL

thanks for the therapy sessions... watching this man play is something else
watching Roger's practice clips are always somewhat therapeutic lol
Significantly better movement than a few days ago
Therapists say watching Roger Federer play is relaxing,IT SURE IS
He is so light on his feet and bounces on his toes the entire time. Not me - I stand there flat footed all the time. No wonder I miss so many balls!

He’s nearly 40 but plays like his 10 years younger😱😱😱
Watching Feds in slow motion is something else. You realise how he glides on the court...pure magic.
I have been waiting so much to see federer play and finally the day has come !!!!
His attitude is so goaty, that's a bit arrogant but he doesn't even mean it. The boss is back!
Effortless Grace !!! The one and only Roger Federer 🤴🏼
That's it Roger ! Keep on playing brother, your the man we love to see
OMG, that sweet sound!!!
To imagine he was still walking around on crutches a little while ago to participating in a tennis tournament at this age you gotta tip your hat to him
i hope he can compete on the highest level in the next months
He’s like a Rolex. Swiss precision.
Federer is seriously the GOKU OF TENNIS.. ALWAYS SOO CHILLS N ACTING FOOLISHLY BUT SITTING ON GARGANTUAN INBORN TENNIS TALENT...OR LIKE ONE PIECE
Yeah dude turns it up to level 1000 when he starts playing for real 🤣 It's pretty cool to see the change!
Thiem is a lot more federer like / compact swing when he practices. Pretty cool!
I'm here from the future. Roger will win his first round.
im here from the future, he will lose the second round despite having match point.
Looking very good to be a forty!!!

Still making it look easy!
100% accuracy and control
What camera was this filmed with? It looks great.

Lol at this point he has more footage than all the other competitors and event related material combined.
😂👊 I try....thanks!
Con el gran Aslan !
Check out the insane racket head speed
The guy in the foreground isn't that bad even tho I have no idea who he is. If he works on his footwork, he might have a nice career on the tour.
