    Federer is therapy. Watching him play heals you. Its like doing meditation. You forget all your problems and just dissolve in his shots. Pure bliss.

      I really thing that this is what sets his game apart from 90% of the other players- his timing is so precise- you never see him "lunge" for the ball or rarely look out of position.

    Everytime the opponent strikes the ball, Roger split steps! Just listen to the sound of the ball being hit & look at Roger's feet. It's like clockwork!

      @@victorbicudo1374 Doesn't matter what I sound like. I just admiring RF's timing. Splitting right as your opponent strikes the ball is insanely fast. Most high level amateurs react a fraction slower. Just watch 4.5 match play on channels like Tennis Troll.

    He is so light on his feet and bounces on his toes the entire time. Not me - I stand there flat footed all the time. No wonder I miss so many balls!

    It’s so beautiful to watch. He makes it look so easy. He’s practisng different kinds of FH, but his footwork and contact point are always the same. I wish I knew how he sees the ball so early .Beauty in motion !

      This was taken from dumbuhalong ponjob’s page - I just edited together the best clips and condensed it into a shorter video. I believe he was using a samsung phone though

    if I were Evans, I'd try a lot of stop volleys. Roger is clearly not going to run for those. his knee isn't stable. what we see here is just his talent making up for his lack of placement. He won't make it through the first confrontation if his footwork remains like this

      He does look a little slow on his feet. I hope he comes back but two surgeries and 40 years old I’m guessing he doesn’t. I think Wimbledon will be his last tournament.

      Actually his backhand was super clean. Forehand looked rusty yes but he always practices very loose like fed express said
