17 times? that's a bit. I heard them on the radio in 1993, then their C.D.'s randomly showed up everywhere I went. In 2003 or so I was feeling what they were feeling in "Without you feels". Now Olivia Rodrigo on her song "Good for you" uses the same type of chord progressions. Then I had a dream that I hired random people to reform the band and call it 7M3. Still might look into it.
thanks to my older brothers cool friend for giving me this CD my freshman year it changed my life. if I can't find my American standard CD I Panic and buy a new one. I've bought this CD like 10 times. It gets me through this fucked up life. thanks 7m3
I was in High School when that one came out. I bought it at least 3 times myself. Once I was on micro dots and just had to hear it so I stopped at CD store where I was at and the mescaline was just starting to come on. There was a Wendy’s next door and I ran into use the restroom. That was a mistake, it wasn’t a very cool place at the time. 😂 Reading your comment made me remember that. Thanks!
Thank you for this clip. Absolutely fantastic! Discovered 7m3 again last year. For the last 12 months "Backbooth" has been my go to album/cd. Working in the yard in the spring and summer, headphones in and Backbooth is pumping through my eardrums.
Love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love it love you guys❤❤❤❤❤
This and 'Cumbersome' are the soundtracks of my divorce. Probably not the only middle aged guy to say that. Just guessin', but that's what I'm going with.
The electric version definitely has the intensity. But, hearing songs acoustically really gives you a chance to take into account the intricacies of the instrumental parts and focus on the emotion behind the lyrics. Don't get me wrong, the CD version kicks ass but, I honestly didn't understand all of the lyrics, nor feel the pain behind them, until I heard the acoustic one.
Wow, I can't believe I've never heard this version. I've seen them live 17 times in three different states. My all time favorite band.

Acoustic blows! No intensity.
