You're Caravan is an amazing setup. We still use our tent should say Airtent. I just Googled a-van, The dimensions are very good to clear a carport and stuff. We don't have a back shed so I would have to purchase a caravan cover to keep it out of the elements. Did you guys look at other vans or camper vans or straight to a van?
We did hunt around initially looking at different types of vans but we wanted something that was easy to tow and we don’t have a lot of room at home to store a bit like you. I didn’t want anything too big or tall. I saw one of these on another TH-cam video and we thought they looked really quite cool so we just kept our eyes out to see if one might become available for sale here in Tasmania and we got lucky we love our Van for now.. Jeff has been looking again only for the pure fact of having shower and toilet inside although when you stay at a caravan park, it’s really not that much of a problem 😁
@@CandidTourists cheers, went away last weekend and saw an Avan camped next to us at the caravan park., the people showed us around it. Very nice. Very compact. That was also our last camp till October/November. It was so cold, minus 1 degrees. And then having to reset the tent up once home to dry out. Ouch. Will definitely be looking into the a Avan, new ones look great, and a lot on market place
@@tugboat8475 Love the look of the new ones with off road. SAdly we havent camped this year.. its freezing in tasmania at the moment and my husband is resting after a big op so hopefully we can get out again in the van in a few weeks. Nothing worse that drying things out thats for sure :)
