It's so cool how Riot designed this character. At first you see a dark empress with big wings. But then you see that her head is actually her whole body, and the other head is just on top, Which makes the design even more MONSTROUS
It's insane how good riot's themes are, I feel like they reflect perfectly the characters themselves, like I don't even know anything about bel veth, but this theme literally gives me a feeling of bel veth
I think riot games are guilty of investing into voidussy

I think one of the most interesting things about Bel'veth's theme is that one of the major elements is the sound of a ship creaking. Considering how much they hinted at her having destroyed a major port city in Shurima, it makes sense.
Designer: and this is Bel'Veth, as you can see, her design will make players feel things they never experienced before

Bel'Veth is a monster disguising as human, but getting rid of that if needet. is see a real big difference
the way they're presenting her reminds me of the Fiddlesticks rework, just concept art with the eerie soundtrack on the background, giving you the feeling of dread that's intended, I am very much in love with this champion already and I can't wait to play as her

I love this theme. It perfectly conveys the eldritch horrors of the void which shall swallow the world into its depths of Lavender Sea. It's eerie, otherworldly, yet oddly relaxing.

A Metroidvania would be sick. Imagine playing as Kai'sa and being able to explore more of the Void as her suit creature thingy grows in strength and gains new abilities

The first minute of the theme and main motif really gives off a Metroid vibe to it, the sense of uneasiness and creepiness you get from wondering around an alien planet in the Metroid games feels very similar here. Then again Kai'sa walking around an alien like landscape of a consumed Runeterran city ain't so different really. Fantastic theme.

This literally gave me goosebumps as the music reminded me of N’zoth one of the biggest old gods in wow( for all the wow fans out there). And the design of her and her fake face reminded me of Kiseijuu “Parasyte” if any of you watched that anime then please do so now, it’s a huge masterpiece!
Somebody told me Bel'Veth could be inspired by Koh the face-stealer from ATLA

Belveth is what the Void perceives the humans of Runeterra. Her champion theme sounds like the Void’s ill-conceived version of the music of Runeterra.
She gave me some Cthulhu vibe, ok not only the character but the soundtrack as well. Both are so stunning and the design is so unique! Heads off to the artists!

Am I the only one who is reminded to MonsterVerse King Ghidorah when listening to this?
My imagination runs wild with this theme. The very beginning I imagine an unknown character wandering around an unknown place, where he gets attacked by something unseen and then is slowly sinking into the depths. Then it cuts to a character that discovers the first guys body sinking, then dives in to help. After the body is on land, the body erupts into some hideous monster prompting a chase around 1:30 in the song. The main character eventually escapes, then they’re exploring a destroyed underground or underwater city. Then around 3:05 the character finally meets the big bad, with its true intentions being revealed throughout the encounter.

This theme sounds so alien. Like something you'd hear in a sci-fi horror film. Love it!
As an avid horror fan, this theme is a ceritfied banger. It's so otherworldly and uneasy I love it.

you know, riot not releasing the in game footage for bel’veth despite being leaked, kinda gives me hope that the slap slap slap champ we saw was test gameplay and the leak was perhaps early stage gameplay or intentionally misleading. especially considering they’ve kinda kept up with the leaks and released the teaser videos and cinematic earlier than schedule bc they were leaked

See this, this is what I expected Kai'sa to be more like. Human but forever corrupted by void. I love this, more scary champs like this. This really sets the Darkin and the Void apart when you see how bestial they are in comparison. The peeling back of the human face to reveal the beast was an amazing decision and thematically mirrors Kai'sa so well. This has me hyped so much for when this champ comes out. At this point, balancing be damned if they are all looking this good.

Bel'veth actually isn't the monster champion! Riot has pushed the monster champion they promised to late 2022, early 2023. Bel'veth just happened to slowly become a monster during development.

This sounds like something I would hear in Metroid Prime and I love it
Any other design team that would make a design with her peculiarity would have been a bad design but the way Riot made her so eerily alluring and project little uncanny while her theme enhances the subtlety of her unique design made her much more amazing. Someone commented her being like an angler fish that lures in prey with their mimicry of the familiar is really fitting

I’ve finally been getting into Dead Space recently, and this sorta gives me necromorph mama vibes. Maybe that’s why I’ve been so enthralled with this champ release. So awesome.
