I’ve had the McNichols book on my TBR for a while. I’m coming up on my 35th birthday next year so not quite as old as the author but getting there. I relate to your point about sort of falling into your life choices-I was the same way. I also relate to thinking about the older generations dying-I just went to a funeral of a 98-year-old great-aunt this weekend and my last living grandparent passed away in November last year. So now my parents are the oldest ones and I’m moving up. I’ve read the first two Perveen mysteries but have never felt compelled to pick up the third.
I am very interested in the S Massey mystery series. I don’t read a ton of mystery but I do like series that take place in geographic locations I am not familiar with.
