    I tried The Waves and DNFed it. I read both To the Lighthouse and Mrs. Dalloway, but they were both hard for me. So when I got to The Waves, I just gave up. I live Room of One’s Own but Virginia’s fiction is over my head.

    Hi there - it is a long video and I watched only the first half so far. I do want to come back and watch the rest. The book about the Japanese horticulture sounds fascinating and I'll put it on my TBR list. The Virginia Woolf book I will probably never read. I generally don't do well with stream of consciousness novels, and I've never read anything by Woolf. She's not on my TBR right now... but I wanted to hear what you had to say about her book! You do give good book summaries!
