      By any chance, do you know how to bypass the hi-hat pedal in CloneHero? When it's connected, it stops the yellow pad/yellow cymbal. I was going to disconnect it, but I'm going to record via OBS and need to keep the pedal to control the BFD Player drum sounds.

    • @nadmeshds1975
      @nadmeshds1975 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      5 lane refers to the way the original guitar hero games (not the rock band ones) displayed songs. The rock band drumset had 4 lanes (3 of them were dual purpose, with a cymbal and tom sharing lanes) and guitar hero had 5. Clone hero primarily uses the Rock Band format. Don't choose 5 lane for a midi kit in your case.

      With the TD-11, I would recommend using a standard MIDI cable to USB like this amzn.to/4bfLRXh. The USB output on the TD-11 can be tricky because it requires a Roland driver that doesn't always work with all apps. The standard MIDI output doesn't require any driver.

    I just got this game and trying to set up my TD-17 kit. The kit works and i can select it as input and map the controls. However, the two toms are also acting as "up & down" or "select". • @snottytoe6957
    @snottytoe6957 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Got mine setup and ran into a ghost input issue that I cannot find anywhere about it. The hi-hat and snare cannot be hit at the same time or it will drop one of the inputs. Same for tom 1 and 2, they can't be hit together, so currently I have to stagger my inputs to keep combos. Holding both kick pedals down also makes the ride symbol unresponsive until I lift off of them, it's like it can't handle or process that many inputs at once.
    Does anybody know of a fix for this? Is it the cable that's causing the problem or is it the kit itself just being bad? The kit I bought is like a 200 dollar AODSK kit, so probably the absolute cheapest you can find.

    • @ApostasyOfficial
      @ApostasyOfficial 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I just bought the same kit and I’m having the same issue. In the drum module, if you set the crosstalk different for each pad, it kinda helps but still having issues. Tried changing velocity and over hit settings under mappings in game, but still not 100% fixed.
      I think a simple 1/4 Y splitter will fix the issue with the pedal for the hi hat if you route it both through the kick from module, so I’m gonna order one and try that.
      If anyone can help with this issue, please let us know!!

      @@demonicsweaters Hi, Sorry wrong question, I already fix my drums and the game recognise the drums and everything.. my problem is that the game cant recognise when I want to hit 2 pads at the same time.. do you know why? its a configuration problem or maybe is my crappy cable?

      @@gianmarcolynx hmm, I'm not sure about that. Maybe you have your crosstalk settings too high in your module?

      @@demonicsweaters I did not touch any of that config, the "double strum prevention" set is in 0. dont know if that is the crosstalk setting

    But how did you connect your drum set to the computer? I assume you have a midi out on your drum brain, but what adapter connects it to the PC?

      You'd need an audio interface with MIDI in. Focusrite Scarlett 4i4 is a popular entry level choice, but there are also cheaper options out there if you look around (also consider pre-owned Scarlett's, but beware of defects because Focusrite support blows).

      Most drums have a usb MIDI output. Use a usb cable to connect the drums.

    my high hat is only hitting like 50% of time do you know why?

      You probably have a dual zone hi hat and only mapped one. Also make sure you map all variations of hi hat, open, close, half open etc…
