The bad the movie didn’t focus on them at all. They should have kept it simple. Drop Chris the love interest and drop the mad villain. Focus on Barbara and Diana. Done. What we got was insane. The taking over an unknown body and sleeping with them was cringe.

I half agree the mad villain could have been dropped but the love interest added heart to the movie. This was always a staple of 1980's superhero/fantasy movies. Personally for me being set in 1984 allowed me to feel like I was 8 years old again. All in all I loved it!
Setting up Barbara as another Etta was clever. Barbara became the human who couldn't give up her taste of power under the spell of the Duke of Deception's stone.

And there was zero conflict between the leads, other than "I can walk in heels now". Garbage movie, how could Patty Jenkins went from the amazing first WW movie to this abomination... so tasteless.

In the JMS Spider-Man comic Skin Deep, Peter Parker bullied Charlie Weiderman, who was an even bigger nerd than Peter himself, in order to score with the popular crowd. (Peter did apologize to Charlie, but the point still stands) Bullying doesn't know of ages, cliques, etc....
