- I finished my Flesh Eater courts army for the new year challenge, now it's time for a pallet cleanser before I take up my next big project. As a kid I built countless scale models and I learn something new from each build, for this project, it was the very first time that panted racing stripes. I'm not super happy with the exterior paint job but the my sister, who this was for, was overjoyed so I guess that's what mattered the most. I hope you enjoy this video and pick up some tricks and tips along the way.

You honor me! It was the first time that I attempted racing stripes on a model. The paint is not 100% as smooth as I would like but I think it’s passable. Thank you for your kind comment, I’m glad that you like this build!

I hear you, but that's why I do them as gifts, I have the room but mu shelving and cabinets are reserved for war games.
Nice to see some car modelling on the channel i want to try a abit of car modelling but i dont have some of the stuff that would be required, Namely polishing compound and car wax. ( and no to anyone reading this not that kind of car modelling get your minds out of the gutter.. you werent thinking that okay then, I wasent thinking that either)

You are being kind, thank you, some times with my paint jobs I encounter orange peeling which is super annoying so I need to polish it out the result is never 100% where I want it to be however. I'm still working on that glass like finish.
I learned a long time ago that paint is 90% prep and attention and the other 10% is spraying on a color I started to get my clear very smooth very shiny and found I could see the roughness underneath so I do a lot of wet sanding every coat now before I paint it and every coat
And in my opinion my paint sucks
