Kenny, thank you so much for using your position in the media to bring attention to this beloved island and its gentle people. They need SO much help. Can you please have someone around you look at the price of concrete which will be crucial for rebuilding. I understand there is only one resource in St John now to purchase concrete so they can charge anything they want and they do.There used to be 2. Concrete is 3 to 4x more expensive In St John than even St Thomas or certainly the States. There needs to be a 2nd or 3rd resource for concrete and other building materials. I am in Houston and St John holds a permanent place in my heart after years of visiting and getting to know the people there. In Houston we are cleaning up and starting to rebuild. Our mayor's office is keeping a close eye on price gouging. Someone has to oversee that on St John or the rebuild and getting people income producing again will be too slow. Thank you again for everything you are doing to help the people of St John.
I am so impressed with Kenny Chesney for his amazing heart that has outreached to the people and animals of the U.S. Virgin Islands with the destruction of hurricane Irma. Thank you Kenny for thinking of the dogs and other animals that are suffering as a result of this hurricane. I am an Animal Health Tech in B.C. Canada....how could I help?
Kenny, you define NSN! Your compassion for these people and the USVI are so clairvoyant in your interview. Thank you Robin Meade for allowing Kenny to express with heart and soul how much those affected by Irma need help. Class Act Kenny!
We just left on the 24th of August, the most beautiful place, the kindest, most humble people, I know why his heart is so big for these people, if you go there, you just want to move there, it's wonderful!
My daughter is on Tortola BVI she rode out Irma 185 mph (felt ears pop ) and survived. Now she is riding out Maria . 2 Cat 5 Storms back to back. She is a marine biologist and now turned to humanitarian work. Doing what ever she can. She refused to leave when she had the chance. I am in awe! I am also a wreck. Prayers are needed tonight.
My parents are okay but lost everything. My dad has Alzheimer's and is diabetic...they need so much help down there. Thank you Kenny Chesney, Robin Meade and HLN for the exposure.
Holli S I want to go and volunteer to help too. Ill want to help with tbe humane society, environmental agencies beaches picking up debris etc. The animals are really my biggest concern they have nothing and are defenseless. People please help the animals too.

Trying to figure out how to help? Lost my job and have nothing else to do.
Prayer would be a good way to help. Just pray for those in need, prayer for those who are hurt, etc.
some of these photos aren't even of the virgin islands. just random ass pics of damage from different islands LOL
