Research and set yourself a budget. Then prepare for the repairs, sourcing parts then more repairs and a lot of fun and did I mention the repairs and maintenance of your classic system(s)
The tape/cassette tape itself is from around 1983 (my first tape, when I started). An explanation based on BasiCode (1200 baud loader) is in a Dutch magazine called "TIjdingen" - TIJDINGEN Sep. 1988, Annual (Jaargang 4). Number 4. Issue Number 39. Page 2-5. Listing of the Turbo Load program by Ton Brouwer (based on the 1200 Baud BasiCode)
I understand, I was always intrigued by the 99 and was the first computer I saw in person in 1979. I got one few years ago and was extremely disappointed in the basic. Mc10 was my first but I prefer to program on an xl or c16 or 128
Thanks!! 👍
I want to get into older computers, but I have no idea where to start.

Thumbs up but programming on the 99 is not very fun
In 1981 it was mind blowing especially if you had Extended BASIC and I did not know any better ;-)
