My husband always teases me that he would like to have a leftover meatloaf sandwich. So I made your mama’s tonight . It stayed together and he didn’t notice until he was saying the prayer. I have made the Paula Deen meatloaf for years but before Paula. My aunt gave me this recipe years ago but we use the Hunts tomato sauce for meatloaf in it instead of plain tomato sauce. My family loves it. Love the way you are patient with your kids and let them help. Bless your family. 🙏♥️😊

Fallon, you remind me so much of my daughter that pasted away. I love watching these videos. I was watching the video the other day of Titus and all of you singing in the church. When I was in high school I was in the choir at church. I loved it. My faith is the only thing that has gotten me through everything. You see I was diagnosed with Lupus and R/A which are auto amuna diseases. Then my husband got diabetes and COPD and Emphasize. Then I got blood clots and lost half my foot. Then my brother died a year later my sister and a year later my daughter. She left two babies behind. I had to finally give my job up which I worked for 30 years helping Veterans. Last summer my husband was diagnosed with stage 3 Cancer and in September of last year we had a bad car accident that left me laid up for 8 months. I landed in the hospital twice because of infection in an open cut in my leg. So faith is everything to me. God has become my BFF. I still feel I had an exceptional life and I have been blessed. Thank you for allowing me to enjoy your family.
It is wonderful that you encourage your sons to help in the kitchen, too. My husband was completely helpless in the kitchen, he was not taught anything sadly. He literally couldn't warm a can of Campbells soup without a disaster happening. 😂😂

I used to drain my meatloaves, until I found a meatloaf pan with the insert, which kept the meat out of the fat or you could lift it out to drain if needed. I like crushed unsalted crackers in my meatloaf. Yes, we prefer my mom's meatloaf recipe also. YUMMY!! LOVE all your videos!

I found an instant pot meat loaf recipe that uses small pieces of apples and onions in the meat mix and a chipotle ketchup sauce for the top and it’s so good!!!! The apple seems weird but it adds a crunchy sweetness and it just works.
I am new to your channel and I am hooked… love the way you cook…and your mommas meatloaf recipe is a lot like my moms with one exception….instead of the sweet pickles you put in your mommas …my mom put green bell pepper instead…she used anywhere from half a bell pepper to 1/3….depending on the size of bell pepper…she used to leave it in big chunks for those who didn’t care for the bell pepper …I cut it into medium pieces ….on another note…I love how your kids are so well mannered and helpful…love your channel!!!

Meatloaf's looked delicious. I like it with either ketchup or bbq but in order for my husband to eat it I have to wrap it with bacon. Always enjoy watching. 🙂❤️🙏
Meatloaf is very personal. I love the one I grew up with. My mama used pork and beef, bread crumbs, onions that were sautéed, eggs , salt and pepper. Sometimes she added a green pepper. If she didn’t have bread crumbs she would use crackers. I make a turkey meatloaf now that we really enjoy. I add ground sage to it along with onions, eggs, and bread crumbs. I make a gravy with chicken broth and poultry seasoning and serve it with mashed potatoes. However you make it, meatloaf is definitely comfort food.

I have made the same meatloaf for fifty years,it’s an Amish recipe with oats and lots eggs very moist . I form it like a oval and put in a nine by thirteen pan .Just pick it up out of any grease and put on a plate to cut .

hello I like my meatloaf made with saltines too. an I use tomato soup with half a can of water mixd together with seasonings of ur choice I use Mrs. dash garlic powder an sea salt.... an drain off the grease b4 putting the soup mixture ovr it half way thru cookn it...
I promise, if you make Paula's but press the loaf up into the pan to give a quarter inch gap on each side for the sauce to surround it, it's even better. I'm making it tomorrow with just over a pound of beef and 2.5 oz of finely diced super thick cut bacon.

We had a bacon wrapped meatloaf for dinner tonight. Our regular meatloaf is similar to yours. I need to try the saltines and see what the husband thinks. I too use ketchup on the top and warm it up in the oven.

The easiest way I’ve found for biscuits is to freeze a stick of butter 🧈 in the freezer then grate it in your flour. It’s really good.

hello I like my meatloaf made with saltines too. an I use tomato soup with half a can of water mixd together with seasonings of ur choice I use Mrs. dash garlic powder an sea salt.... an drain off the grease b4 putting the soup mixture ovr it half way thru cookn it...
I promise, if you make Paula's but press the loaf up into the pan to give a quarter inch gap on each side for the sauce to surround it, it's even better. I'm making it tomorrow with just over a pound of beef and 2.5 oz of finely diced super thick cut bacon.

We had a bacon wrapped meatloaf for dinner tonight. Our regular meatloaf is similar to yours. I need to try the saltines and see what the husband thinks. I too use ketchup on the top and warm it up in the oven.

I put bacon and cheddar and bbq sauce in my meat loaf. Last 10 minutes, I top it with more bbq sauce.
I love meatloaf ..... my meatloaf, which was Momma's recipe. Have only found one place that is close, our local Hy-Vee grocery store. No BBQ meatloaf for me!!!
