Regarding Angrath, Captain of Chaos, the amass 2 has been errata'd to amass zombies 2. The amass mechanic has basically been updated to be if you don't control an army then you create a 0/0 army token that is the type being amassed (zombie or orc) and add the appropriate number of +1/+1 counters. If you already control an army, it gains the creature type being amassed if it doesn't have it already and add the +1/+1 counters.
@@RedManaMadness no, Angrath amasses a zombie army. Anything before Lord of the Rings would only have 'amass' because they didn't plan on an army be anything other than a zombie army. Once they were designing Lord of the Rings, it had to specify 'amass orcs' and all previous 'amass' mechanics are 'amass zombies'. If you control no army and amass zombies, you create a zombie army. Then if you amass orcs, you add the orc type to your existing army and add the +1/+1 counters; you now have an orc zombie army.
@luuhq ohhhhhh so initially it will always be a zombie army amassed with Angrath, I will need to play a spell that amasses an orc army after to add the sub type?
@@luuhq awesome stuff, thanks for discussing this and explaining it to me, I get there eventually lol always coo to learn new things. Much love my guy 💪
@@redacted8374 ah man that's actually a really good point, why didn't I think of that 😅 I'll update the comments and add the deck list soon, thank you dude, it's this type of feedback I appreciate, much love.
